Dr. Otka and his staff are very good, and dedicated to the service they provide.??????????
Veterinarians are special people, for they care for all animals great and small.

Absolutely phenomenal facility! I brought my rabbit in for a critical situation (GI stasis) without ever seeing them before. Everyone involved, starting with my panicked phone call, was patient, knowledgeable, efficient, and kind. My anxiety was relieved, a solution that avoided surgery for Max was found, any question I could muster up was answered, and I believe they're worthy of praise and recommendation. Super clean too.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. BROUGHT KITTEN IN FOR SERVICES. NOW THEYRE SUING ME! They sue everyone under the name "Critter Fixer"...
I chose this office because they said they specialized in exotic pets.
5 minutes into my first visit with my Devon Rex they slid toward me a contract for an $800 outdoor kitten package claiming it would save money in the long run.
After signing the “contract” they admitted they’ve never had a Devon Rex in the office. They proceeded to give the booster shot knowing the kitten had JUST received one from a previous vet. This led me to seek a second opinion. A lot of the services on the outdoor cat package were unnecessary and even known to kill Devons.
On the second visit I told them I got a second opinion and chose not to go forward with the package. The doctor sent FOUR vet techs in to try to convince me to stay with the $800 package. Claiming my cat could get leukemia by simply sitting in the window. An obvious sales tactic. It felt very uncomfortable and bossy.
I asked multiple times to be billed for the services that were given but they insisted on charging me for the package even tho I declined most of the services. Because of their refusal my only option was to dispute the charge with my credit card, otherwise I would have been over-charged. This office refused to correct the bill.
Long story short THEY’RE SUING ME! All I wanted was care for my new kitten and now I’m in litigation because I didn’t want to overpay for unnecessary services.
Lessons learned: do not trust a vet office which makes you sign a contract. Make sure the vet has experience with your animal and not pushing to give un-necessary services. Do not trust Dr. Otka’s office. It’s uncomfortable, bullying and ultimately all about money. Sickening.

We love this vet clinic! They’re always helpful in fitting us in for sick visits, which can be really hard to find. We also love the vet and the vet tech’s bedside manner. Our two dogs feel comfortable there even though that’s where they get vaccines! Everyone at the practice cares about each patient.

Amazing, compassionate, knowledgeable. I love Dr Otka and his team. I trust all my animals, exotic and non exotics with Dr Otka and his team. Anyone who is new to having an exotic animal, Dr Otka and his team will teach you and guide you in the success, health, and happiness of your exotic. Dr Otka treats all animals as his own, and shows this on how he handles, talks, and cares for your animals. They are also up to date in new ways of treatment.

Dr. Otka and his staff are great with my green tree python . He is very knowledgeable about exotics...which is hard to find around here.

This is fleecing hell, if fleecing ever existed. Requiring a $60 deposit & then don't know else I could be charged for? Nope. Then $600 to $800 for a spay? In what damn world? A good veterinarian gives the best care without rooking people, especially in this economy. I don't where these good reviews are coming from, unless you have money to through away. Vet bills are costly but they shouldn't be that costly. That's advantage of pet owners & shows that this place is money hungry.

Had a very nice first appointment last week. The staff was very knowledgeable and pleasant. The doctor was very informative and answered all of the many question that I had about my new pet.

I absolutely love going here! Everyone is so caring! They really listen and the doctor is super knowledgeable. I also like his caring concern with my babies! I also like that they’re hospital and open on the weekends for emergencies that happen. I’ve had a few visits in the last month and have left feeling like comfortable with the care and the decisions that we are making for my dogs and just again the care and concern around them and making sure they’re comfortable and well taken care of. I absolutely love it. I am, but I am going to be there life!
