“Mystic Knotworks is an adorable little store that sells knots, yes the ones you tie! They sell everything from doormats, to keychains, to cat and dog toys, baskets, and so many bracelets. Everything is made by tying a differnt type of knot, using different types of rope or cord. And of course everything is made by hand! You might even find the store associates working on a craft while you're in the store. The bracelets are their best sellers. They come in a huge assortment of colors, from very thin to very wide, to everything in between. If for some reason you don't find your favorite color, or combo of colors in your preferred width, they can make it for you, while you're in the store. Everything is very appropriately priced. The bracelets average at around $8 and the doormats at around $50. It is a lot of fun to walk through and see everything that can be made by hand. They even have a book that was written by the store owner, Matt Beaudoin that's a guide on knot tying. When in Mystic, please stop by Mystic Knotwork, you'll be impressed by the variety of knotted items.”

“First time visiting Nest and was thrilled to find a hidden gem of a gift store. Candles, jewelry for every taste, unique decor items, handbags and clothing. The store smells so nice (from those candles and diffusers) and the atmosphere is very inviting. It appears they put out new inventory all the time. Worth a visit!”

“I, like many locals and visitors alike, love this shop! It definitely has a wide assortment of very creative, made in the USA items. That is one of the big draws for me. I gave it five stars because of the kind owner and the eclectic shop. But, to be honest, I would give it four stars due to one employee that does not seem to enjoy her job.This experience is based on two other occasions when I’ve been shopping while she’s been working.The off putting, rub you the wrong way attitude, is not appreciated.If I had to guess about the incident that happened with an another reviewer, my guess would be this was the same employee.I really do enjoy shopping here because of its unique and beautiful items. “Clothes with class and style at an affordable price. Same for jewelry and accessories. My wife, daughters and I have all had great success finding whatever we need gifting or otherwise. Also, Grace employees ARE personable and attentive. On a side note, someone had the nerve to trash Grace while admitting that they use the store to "get ideas" before making purchases of clothing online. Essentially, using them as their own personal showroom but not paying for the merchandise. WOW! Unbelievable. Brings the Karen monicker to a whole new level! Shop at Grace then buy at Grace. Most thoughtful people do.”

“The Silver Pappillon is primarily a jewelry store in downtown Mystic. I've always been drawn to it because they have the cutest wine bottle holders, made of metal, that are typically displayed in front of the store. They come in a variety of characters, with so much fine detail. These are a true piece of art. The inside is filled with jewelry. The left side of the store has more finer pieces, while the right is more focused on fashion jewelry and statement pieces. They also have some beautiful handcrafted ornaments of sailboats. I have previously purchased one of these as a souvenir gift for a friend. While this store has many beautiful items, there is a good amount of items that are a bit outdated. My favorite are the unique wine holders and the sailboat ornaments.”
