When I arrived nobody was in the office. There were 4 people waiting outside. When they did show up they didn't have my reservation which I set up weeks earlier. I ended up going to a different store.

1 ⭐️ because their prices are competitive. But if you value coordination & easy communication as I do, I implore you -Take your business elsewhere!
Not sure if was just me, but i was not given any options when if was time to get a vehicle.
The vehicle I received had misfunctioning sensors & the front brake assist was broken. Warnings would appear on the dash everytime the car was turned on & sometimes just randomly. When I tried to request a replacement vehicle the Revere, MA Office would put me on hold, & then hangup (3x), Hartford, CT Office told me they would not replace it, which makes no sense, Wallingford Office said they could …but didnt have any vehicles ?♂️
When I returned the vehicle to the Groton Office I asked the employee to wait while I figured out how I would pay & if insurance would cover any of the balance after I was given the total owed. Instead of waiting, she charged my checking acct (instead of credit card) & because she did not wait fo me to green light payment, Insurance was unable to cover an additional 4 days.
If this was how Hertz handles an extended rental totaling >$1300 I cant even imagine what a short rental may look like ????
I WILL NEVER USE HERTZ AGAIN & NEITHER SHOULD YOU. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE FROM TOP 2 BOTTOM ??

I had the almost same experience with Tolly I ordered Tesla from Uber and when I got there the lady works there told me there isn’t any with a bad bad bad bad attitude like I never ever experience before ,I ended up going back home with nothing,the attitude was from the beginning all the way to the end like I owned her child support,I never ever had that bad customer service in my entire 35 years of life ,if you don’t have the car please don’t list it on website that’s no big deal the real problem is the lady works there has 0 respect to her job and if you have that kind of attitude I suggest you get some help

Phone number doesn’t work the moment you click option to speak with someone that works at the local store. Disconnects you. Very frustrating when need to talk to someone after making reservation… any chance someone can call me?
Update: told me to use social media, don’t have social media. Horrible customer service! Horrible. Now a 1 star for that.
Pathetic way to run a business, right into the ground.

Not all that impressed with this place. I've been renting cars for a while now; and never had to have my credit score checked, and never saw anything in the rental confirmation from expedia about a security deposit. On top of that the car's windows looked like they haven't been cleaned in a while.

I’ve been renting w/ Hertz for almost a year now & Anne is THE BEST rental agent that I’ve ever done business with! She’s always kind and helps me with any rental issues when & if they occur. I’ll forever do business with Hertz simply because of Anne!!

Worst car rental place I’ve been to. I rented a Tesla though Uber with a reservation. I get there she immediately tries to give me a Chevy bolt when there are about 4 teslas sitting right out front. Long story short she brings me back the dirtiest Tesla. I ask her to service it. She drives around back and drives back up front and said she serviced. Took about 2 minutes. Vehicle was still dirty. Customer service is non existent. I returned the vehicle early. Just wasn’t impressed.

Made a reservation to pick up a car with Uber and when I got there they lady told me they only had teslas which at the moment I’m ineligible to drive for Uber but as I was leaving I saw a Nissan in their rental lot and when I went back to question she wasn’t there so I left but I feel like I was lied to and I will be calling someone about this because i now have to find a different location to rent a car from

I forgot the agent's name, but she is extremely friendly and helpful. I drive on the uber platform and at the moment I can only rent. The last time I picked up my rental, there were issues with the car she gave me. I told her about the issues, and right away, she assigned me a better car, no questions asked. As long as I'm driving for uber,I'll continue to rent from this location.

Needed a rental while my transmission was getting fixed and went with the Tesla. I loved it it was tough giving it up and going back to my old car. I never asked the woman at the front desk her first name but whoever was there today and last week was absolutely lovely. She came out and showed my little girls the cars light show before we left. Will recommend to out of state friends and family that come to visit. If we ever need another rental we will be back!

Hidden fees! Others mentioned this too if you read the reviews! This place will scam you. Check your bill closely. Very tricky!
