The guy who works 3rd shift is one of the greatest cashier's this place has ever had working for them. Hands down he should definitely be the manager here. Always so pleasant to deal with and always so helpful love going in there on my way to work Wednesday through Sunday when he is working. This is the only only reason I gave 5 stars. I will never ever go in there again during the day BIGGEST MISTAKE the short lady with glasses and the blonde short guy are both rude as ever I definitely would never even give them one Star. Instead of firing everyone else maybe those two should be the ones that are fired. Used to love coming here all the time during the day maybe a few months ago now I will NEVER STEP FOOT IN THERE AGAIN u til after 11 at night. The biggest shout out to the third shifter there keep doing what your doing young man.

The short lady this morning 07/17/2024 before 730am was very rude but I notice that every white male she served, she was joking around with and laughing with them but any darker skin she was rude to, beyond rude. I am a Filipina, so I have a very dark skin. She was beyond rude. If there was a measurement or scale for rudeness, she probably broke the damn thing.

Had to get gas for my mower and only had a $50 so I got $20 in scratch offs and said "I'll get lotto cause I only have a $50 on me" as i got the lotto, and STILL got lecture about the new $50 in the drawer policy. BAD IDEA considering tanks take 50-100 to fill. Not taking 100s was out annoying but not taking 50s (unless I spend it all) is just ridiculous.

If you just getting gas and not going in the store you're okay. The short female who works in there is beyond rude! They have a technical problem with their gas pump that would not allow me to get past a screen that only said remove your card. There was nothing else on the screen. I made my way into the store to let them know there was an issue and to make sure my card wasn't charged and the short lady behind the counter proceeded to yell at me telling me I was wrong and I had to hit a button on the screen I tried to tell her there was nothing on the screen other than remove card and she told me it was wrong yelled at me and put her hand up in my face. I left and went to another gas station

I try to stick to giving 5 star reviews only, but these guys deserve it, which really sucks. Yes, there are some decent people working here, but it only takes a couple bad apples to ruin the bunch. I think they genuinely hate their jobs and people even more so. Seriously, if you don't like your job that much confident finding a new one. I will, from now on, avoid going inside this store at all costs, despite its proximity to my home and what should be "convenience", after all its in the name! Staff here has been rude to me and other people for seemingly no reason. I was once told by an unmasked worker that I needed to be wearing a mask to be in their store... wut?? Moving on. Don't do a shift change at 7am on a Friday when people are getting to work. Seriously, I was informed it would be a few minutes before the et could check me out as the woman counted out her drawer behind the counter. So that in the office and put a new drawer, pre-counted, in the register so you can carry on your business. I offered to pay them cash for my goods, no change needed, and move one and was told, very snarkily, "we need to scan each item"... ok. There's more of these items in the shelf. Write it down and when it's "convenient" for you go and scan the item. I, and everyone else, would like to buy our goods and be on our way. So, rather than tell them how to be convenient I just went down the street to Veterans Convenience Store, where EVERYONE has always been pleasant and convenient. The best thing about this Henry Penny is the free air and the sometimes reasonably priced gas. The staff is (mostly) horrible and inconvenient. I apologies to the good ones. You deserve better. A rising tide lifts all boats.

On Tuesday, July 5th, 2022, I entered the store and paid 55 dollars for gasoline. The tank filled for less than the amount I had paid, so I went back into the store to retrieve the difference, which was $3.37. The manager only gave me $3.00, and I requested my receipt - like I always do.After I drove back to my office, I noticed she had not given me my change. I figured I could go back and get my change the following day.On Wednesday, July 6th, 2022, I returned to the Shell station, and a different rep was there. I explained what had happened, but she explained that the manager was out to lunch.On Thursday, July 7th, 2022, I returned and asked the manager if I could get the change she forgot to give me. With an Unapologetic look, she said no, and that she would have to look into it (as if we were taking about 37 thousand dollars).I frequent that store a lot, and that manager knows that. I have never had an issue with her, but today her demeanor changed, and I have no idea why. I am appalled at the unkind, uncaring, and disrespectful service I received at this Shell station. It's more than just .37 cents; it's about the principle and how you treat your customer.If you go there, make sure you ask for a receipt and check your change before you leave. I am not sure how many other customers have been hook-winked and swindled.
