I was on vacation a week ago and my daughter and I were purchasing a few items. I made mention to the cashier how it was pleasant to see the company participating in Juneteenth. He leaned over the counter and asked what Juneteenth was. After explaining the significance, he leaned back and made a face like someone in the room let a nasty smelling fart. I calmly said to my daughter “I mean black people are human too”. Maybe your establishment should instill some emotional and social training workshops for its employees. I would also suggest doing some research on your employees to ensure you are not hiring racists.

Dropping off donations have always been quick and easy. Some things that clearly go together and do not function individually are priced individually, you wouldn't price each shoe, you would sell them as a pair. Same should go for certain items like drawers that go to something like a dresser or something that clearly holds the drawers. Why would you price the drawers individually? Or like cube shelves that go together to make a single unit of shelves why would you price each cube? And the price tags, some are placed on items in a way that ruins the item. I know these are mostly thrift items but you should still try to place the prige tag so it's not goint to pull the paint off when you take it off or leave remnants of the glue and paper to a surface you can't scrape off or use goof off on, please. Employees are kind friendly and helpful in most situations. Thank you!

I dropped off items at the donation center at the Groton store, and the lady that helped me unload. All the items was just very kind and helpful. That is a true asset to the team because it’s so hard to find kind, caring, helpful people. She is a definite asset to the Groton in Store.

First of all everything they get is free. The prices should be lower just for that reason. My biggest pet peave is they do not have any dressing rooms to try anything on so, if you have to buy it. When you return product they give you a gift card.

I am not sure how Goodwill prices work but I went in and they charged me for the same vase at different prices. I usually don’t write bad reviews but this I cannot let go. Especially when they wouldn’t let me have my vase at the same price. They said if the same vase comes in and one is placed out a few days before the other one then they indeed charge a higher cost. They have about 10 out there and I happen to grab the most priced one with three other ones that were 1.99$. The manager was extremely rude and condensing. When she told me the reason I actually called her out because another worker told me the truth. She wanted to make sure she had a extremely good story. I know its a thrift store but this vase was nowhere near 3.99$. The profit they get from consumers is high but that they donate is not. Im disappointed that they do this. They hike the prices up on one item in hopes that the same item does not come through the pipeline. I hope everyone checks the prices even on multiple items cause you may find yourself with different prices for the same thing. My mistake! but it is just sad and distasteful that Goodwill makes profit by doubling the value of an item, knowing that they do not have to fix the price if the costumer catches on.

Been to alot of Goodwills over the years. This one was way overpriced. Literally double. Jeans at 15.99. Few brand names. Looked as if anything that had any value never made it to the shelves. The sad part was 2 employees working the kids toy section did nothing but complain about pay and work environment with eachother

Love shopping here but have a few suggestions. One stop selling stained and or very overly used items. Also stickers on the books!!! It ruins them when I take them off.

Shopping at goodwill is just as expensive as shopping for new clothing at a retail store. these are donated items, they should not be charging big store prices.

I enjoy coming here a lot, I am disappointed to see the prices being raised. 13.00 for American Eagle jeans is just absurd. Stores like this should realize that they could and would sell 100% more if they actually lowered there prices. Don't get me wrong, you can absolutely score a solid deal or two here, you just need to visit often, and be prepared to spend a little while and look through the racks.

Umm the prices are NOT slaying. I picked out 5 items I liked and they were all over 10 bucks?? The dresses I liked were 20-50 dollars?? Skirts and tops at the Manchester goodwill are literally 3-5 dollars ?

This store is disgusting! Do NOT try using the bathroom here. It hasn't been cleaned in YEARS! You can see dense dust accumulated around the ceiling vent and even on the walls! The store over all is a mess. Not well kept up at all. The toy section looked like a bomb had gone off, stuff was all over the floor. The store is not organized well either. But you still can find a few good things here if you have the time to go through it all. The Norwich store is a heck of a lot better.
