They buy stolen goods, knowing that they are stolen. They bought jewelry from someone they supposedly "blacklisted" they scrap/melted it that same week. They got their money and thats all that matters to them.

What a great group of guys! I came in to get a game system for my son; not knowing if it would be affordable at this time for me. Not only did I walk with an Xbox. I got about 8 games and 2 controllers. Truly a classic 5 star experience: blessing the community they serve. Thank you guys ??

went to look for some goods but one of the employees was not nice. Was very frustrated and not helping at all. Was a white male. Been doing business here before and the other employees are very nice. Feels very uncomfortable when he’s there.

I have read the reviews before I drove an hour to this place but had to see what was going on for myself. This isnt an "I got ripped off angry customer" post. They will indeed try and will rip you off if you let them. Perfect if you're not trying to get actual or even 1/2 the value from what you're pawning and on the other hand you'll find some stuff cheap there. Be careful with what you buy and sell and examine what you're being told thoroughly.

Scott totally took care of me, with only 5 minutes left before closing time. These guys are transparent, courteous, and overall good people. Check them out if you are looking to buy or sell quality products, second hand.

There's only one respectable fair man that works there! Im assuming he is one of the Scott's! Sadly the times I have gone he is not usually there. The other clowns are unprofessional, rude, and try to rip you off! Their lucky the economy is in the dumps and people are desperate to say the least cuz nobody would or should go there! Lets face it people are already in a bad place if they have to pawn or sell any item but to compound this with disrespect and ignorance I'm truly amazed by their lack of compassion. I would have gave a zero star rating if it were available! They don't deserve your business or money! Lastly I'm an easy going guy and i know they have to make money but the disrespect in that place is at a level that will push a man to the limit!

Been a customer for about 4 years and I would say, my experiences are bitter-sweet. This is a small, tight store more for tools and miscellaneous items. Its like an estate sale, in a store. They come off a bit sexist and preferential. I've been offered lower prices for the same items as my spouse, a few times. Their customer service is not as welcoming as the other shops in the area. I buy more than I sell/pawn and I'm always going to spend my money in the pawn shop that offers me the most fair price for my items when I sell or pawn. So, if I am desperate, I will go here, for an unfair price .

Walked in with a service animal. Guy had his own dog on premises I have no issue with that however the dog ran up to mine. I tried to keep the dog away and the guy kept repeating "he won't go out" newsflash the dog did attempt to leave the store to get to mine. I told him my dogs a service dog after he tried to tell me to take my dog out. I simply said just keep your dog away. The dog wouldn't listen to the owner and kept approaching mine which is extremely dangerous as my dog is a seizure alert dog. I ended up picking my dog up and leaving the store upset that the guy couldn't control his dog or even attempt to accommodate my need for my medical equipment.

I would not recommend Gold Star Pawn. I hate to do this as I been a customer for a couple of years.Very rude when I walked up, did even evaluate my item which like everything I ever brought them has been in great condition.There’s been times when they would not do a pawn for fiancé that they did for me week prior and wound up doing for me . Just that kind of business I am starting to learnI am just very surprised as we never lost an item and our relationship has lead to well over 1k from the interest payments.Just shocked shame on that squad.

I didn’t appreciate the way they treated. I was treated like I was a criminal. I couldn’t cash my check I got from my boss because they never heard of it is the excuse they gave me and I was denied. I feel like they were being bias towards me and not a place I want to go to ever again.

Really nice place, had a lot of cool stuff. They do the weight of metals, so keep that in mind. I liked it a lot, really professional. Would definitely recommend!
