I thought it was a good service until my dog hurt her leg on a Saturday afternoon and had to go to the emergency room the at OSVS. The vet tech took her to check her vital signs and immediately said she was in AFIB (arrhythmia) and put her on an EKG for monitoring. They were much more concerned about her heart than her leg. She saw a cardiologistlogist and has 2 types of heart disease and pulmanary hypertension!!! she had had a full physical at Four Paws 3 wks prior ..costing just under $900!!! So far I've spent $1500, she's one 6 medications and has to go for more test and a heart monitor. Be careful who you trust. They ER and cardiologist recommended I use Salt Ponds Vet in Westerly, which I have transferred to for her care.

Almost killed my sweet kitty because they knew nothing about feline pancreatitis. Owner vet looked like he was on his first day at vet tech school when trying to do an injection on a gentle, sweet animal. Charged a fortune on a dental (no extractions) but didn’t include dental X-rays which is standard protocol for older felines. I trusted them because I didn’t know better. They put on a good show but lacking in critical experience.

Melissa and other nurses were really good with our fur kid. Dr. G was great and explained everything. With meds, all is much better.

Contacted and spoke to vet on Friday, they knew my dog was very ill. I have been going to this vet for over 10 years. The vet knew my dog was ill , I left a voice-mail on sunday because I didn't know what to do for her anymore. Ended up bringing her to piper vet services in Madison (who is amazing) . They had to put her down for me. Four paws never called on momday to either give condolence or if they didn't know to schedule an appointment for her. Absolutely unacceptable from the vet that had taken care of my dogs since a puppy. Four paws just isn't the caring vet service it once was...very sad, and never again.

Love this vet, the entire office is friendly and they take such good care of our dogs even last minute medical issues they accommodate. Went here for 3 Yeats before I moved and moved back to the area and take both my dogs there again.
