I have been with StateFarm 25+ years and every time there has been changes from moving, purchasing, selling a home or a car StateFarm has been with me. With my most recent move and all the changes and challenges that have come with it State Farm once again stepped in made everything much easier. I’ve been with State Farm for 35 years, that alone tells you I’m pretty impressed with their service. I’ve had Curtis Boyd as my agent for 30 years, the amount of time I’ve lived in CT. Everyone I’ve had the pleasure to speak with have been exceptional to deal with, they are kind, knowledgeable and always friendly. They explain all the options available and always help me to get the best rate and coverage for my needs. Throughout the years I’ve had auto, rental, jewelry and home owners insurance and I never feel like I’m being sold to, and always feel like a valued customer. Today I spoke with Jessica McArdle, which I believe was the first time we have spoken, again amazing service. She was both knowledgeable and personable helping me get the right coverage for my needs.

In an age in which "making a payment" is ultra easy, but "getting help" is excruciatingly difficult (or impossible), State Farm has been a breath of fresh air. It was, in fact very easy, to sign up for coverage online. But when I needed to make a change and get extra information and assistance, I was able to make a phone call and immediately talk to an actual person. Not some stranger from another state or country, but a real human being with a local office that I could actually visit. And that is what I eventually did. Kevin and Jessica at the Groton office were both excellent, offering real customer service and demonstrating honest salesmanship. I originally went for renter's insurance, but I also added car insurance and signed up for their credit card. Most of my experiences these days with getting assistance from any service or company are extremely painful: hours spent navigating automated options, listening to AI voices, wasting time on "FAQ" pages that do nothing to address my issues, etc. State Farm was the opposite of all that. If you want down-to-earth, old school, real customer service from a human being, call or visit State Farm in Groton. (P.S. In addition to service, their product was also much better than my previous plan. My monthly payment was cut in half and the coverage is superior.)
