Friendly compassionate care. Easy to make appointments, very transparent billing, and great follow up. They were great with Winnie and made her feel safe and calm.

The staff were friendly and accommodating. They were able to get my puppy in fast however they misdiagnosed him without having ample proof. I took my newly adopted puppy in after noticing he was scratching all the time and had dry, red inflamed skin. The vet said he has a meat allergy, had given him a cytopoint injection, prescribed him a puppy medicated shampoo, and had me buy him a special derm friendly food. Later that night I found worms in his poop and took him to a different vet for the deworming treatment, where I was told he was too young to be diagnosed with a food allergy(especially without a food trial), he was scratching because his skin was dry and it could be fixed with a moisturizer, dog safe Benadryl, and oatmeal baths. They also tested him and found out he had roundworms and coccidia which could have led to his dry skin and itchiness. As a result of the misdiagnosis from Companion Animal Hospital not only did they charge me for completely unnecessary things but they also hadn’t figured out the root cause of his problems, delaying his treatment. If you decide to use this vet be sure to do your research and be careful not to get overcharged.

A little backround: We live here 2 months out of the year and I always like to have a vet in this area that I can count on, should my cat have an issue. We have been going to Companion Animal Hospital for the past 3 summers and have never had any issues getting an appointment for a nail trim. Staff was always great and we had no problems. I brought all of my cats paperwork so they could see that she was up to date on annual exams + shots from her primary vet. Now, they demand that my cat have another annual exam from them before they can do a nail trim ! (She just had an annual exam and shots last month from her primary vet ) Sorry, that's ridiculous. Sounds like a total money grab to me...........

Always kind answering questions, no matter how many I have (usually a lot - like step by step spelling things out for me!)

I went there for the first time this week as my kitty was having some serious dental challenges. All the staff were friendly, compassionate, highly knowledgeable and very open to all my questions. I would definitely recommend them!

Excellent experience. Very happy with how staff treated my daughter (8 years old) as the pet "owner" and let her get involved in discussions/decisions. Made the process easier on both the kitten and my daughter.

I took my older cat to Companion and I was impressed with the gentle and caring help he received. He is a wary old guy, but they won him over easily. Thank you.

I cannot say enough good things about this place personally.
I've been taking my cat Luna to companion animal hospital for about 3 years now. Admittedly I grew up thinking cats didn't need as many check ups as dogs (something I no longer believe). When she got ill with cancer 3 years ago when she was ten, I didn't know what to do really or what was going on with her. This vet and the people who work there really are the kindest most compassionate understanding people. They did not shame me for the years I hadn't kept up on visits, they were on top of their game, wanting to give my girl the best care to figure out why she was ill and how to make her feel better. She underwent a few surgeries and the diagnosis process was not so straightforward, like most things medical it took some time to figure out what the root issue was. She had to be kept there for an extended period of time and it was very touch and go if she would make it. But this vet was on top of everything as far as testing, getting her looked at, checking up on her, everything. During the time she had to stay there for monitoring, they let me come and see her whenever I wanted, I would call and they would set up a room for me to spend time with her. Everyone there, the front desk staff, the vet techs, and the vet themselves all care so much and do everything within their power to help. I truly believe my luna wouldn't be here still if I had taken her to a less caring vet. Now 3 years later, they still continue to show they really care about her wellbeing, when it comes to regular check ups, urgent or emergancy issues, or even just getting her prescriptions in a timely manner.
So if youre searching for where to bring your new pet that will treat them like family, or where to bring an older pet who's in need of regular check ups but you're afraid of the stigma that you'll be shamed or feel guilty you didn't do it sooner, I cannot stress enough that this place is amazing.
