when i went i was just getting over swimmers ear and i had very specific instructions for my ear drops and whenever i went to the nurse for my meds she just dropped them in put a tissue in my ear and told me to leave. not to mention the camp director did not seem to like kids at all.

Such a peaceful place that offers so many activities. The facilities have everything you would need. Staff are phenomenal from traditional camp to ASC (Adults with special challenges) to the retreat staff. Nice to see everyone working together and providing a beautiful experience. The lake is breathtaking. I highly recommend Camp Wightman!

Never was a camper there but I do love helping out by being part of the Thursday crew when I can. Had some positive influence on me and meet some awesome people. Thank you camp for giving me a chance to try to make a difference.

My counselors at Camp Wightman laid the foundation for the person I've become, especially the one I had for three years of Sr. High Conference. As I started my career in the early 1980's one of my bosses told me that my management style reminded her of a summer camp counselor the way I led my team! I laughed and told her I'd been one and I'd been heavily influenced by several!

Here’s the chicken they served up for us. I wouldn’t feed this to my worst enemy, and before you ask, no, I didn’t eat it.Rest of the meals were meh, but this is just blatantly unacceptable.

Perfect place for a mostly unplugged getaway for one person or family, or large group! I went to "Wild Women in the Woods" camp for older women last summer, then took my husband there for a surprise ? vacation to be unplugged, watch the sunset on the beach, our own campfire, peaceful walks on the trails and dirt roads ?. I have been at group retreats there years before and am never had a bad experience. A place of peace and rest for however long, or short your stay!

I grew up going to this camp with my parents, my church and a few summer camps. I don't know the current condition of the camp as stated by previous comments but I've seen pictures of some of the improvements and they look great! Friends of the family used to spend every Thanksgiving there with kids and grandkids and they enjoyed themselves svery much! Would love to go in off season and see for myself but it's been 43 years since I was there personally. Beautiful lake and lots of space!

Pros: Far away, unplug, peaceful, quiet!Cons: bed bugs, run down, don’t take care of what they lord has given them.I came here in December with my church. We had a great time. The reason for the 2 stars is the place is very dumpy. The bathroom was remodeled but the property is run down and they don’t take care of it. It is a shame and my hope is that they would invest in the property to address the serious water drain issues and water problems, bed bugs, etc.
