Holy moly the body language is horrific. I felt very unwelcome and that my patronage was a major inconvenience

Customer service was horrible. The woman who worked there just ignored me while I was trying to return a package. She said that she could work when she was on her lunch break and she could help me. There was no other workers at the front desk and she just sat there eating Cheetos and drinking Starbucks.

They helped me find my lost package and customer service was incredible. Definitely a helpful place!

Online says they close at 1230. 3 people in line guy rudely says “we close at 12! The mail has to be send by 1230” - whatever that means. Rude. Hate that local post office has such bad service. Cos Cob location is so much better - go there instead.

The staff is most unpleasant. They never have a good answer or a friendly face.

USPS is the best here. I interact with them extensively and this is my favorite location. I would strongly recommend anyone who is interacting with the USPS to figure out self-shipping tools and how to print your own labels from home. That has made my USPS experience much better.

To whom it may concern, I am filing a complaint on USPS location located at: 44 Amogerone CrosswayGreenwich, CT 06830. This location is in one of the busiest areas of town, close to all the shopping centers and more populated area. Every time I go inside to mail a package, there is always one person behind the counter 9 out of 10 times. Even though there is supposed to be 2 workers there according to the supervisor. I went to mail a package on 10/6/23 and as I went inside I saw that there was a line past the entry door inside. There had to be at least 8 customers waiting, none whom looked happy. So instead of waiting I decided to use the self kiosk but wait, it was out of service! This made it incredibly inconvenient for me as I was not going to wait in line while the gentleman behind the counter didn’t know what he was doing. This same gentleman has been complained to other workers before and the workers all say the same thing, he does not know what he is doing. So why have someone who doesn’t know the systems work at one of the busiest USPS locations in town? I decided to leave and went to the USPS at 29 Valley DrGreenwich, CT. While it was 10 minutes to go there and out of my way, the staff inside were friendly and got my package done quickly. There were at least 3 workers there and almost no customers. So why does this location have more workers, less customers but the first location has fewer workers and more customers? Makes absolutely no sense. Either train the employee that works at the Amogerone location or get more workers at this location and stop making customers frustrated. Also why put a self kiosk if it won’t work? Get your act together USPS.

Had the most unpleasant experience here. 1 worker, line out the door. I was trying to mail a priority mail package and had filled out the senders address. My mistake, I had not filled out the return address. When I got to the front, the worker huffily informed me I needed to fill out the return address. No problem, I started to attempt to do that while she worked in order to expedite the process. But was then told “can you wait until I’m done what I’m doing”. So I wait. And then when she’s done, I tried to quickly fill out the return address. As I’m doing so, shes decided we are finished and is shaking the receipt at me in an attempt to get my attention. When that fails, she simply moved the box, that I was currently writing on. I had half the address written out but at that point, was not interested in interacting with this person any further. The package is paid for, I have the receipt. I am not confident it will be shipped

This is a great USPS location. The staff members are kind and excellent at what they do. There is free 15-minute parking and even when there is a line for service, it tends to move smoothly and quickly.

In the line, they have 7 people. The guy in front of me gets told by the only person working to go drop ship it himself because she doesn't have time. The other employee took a break with a full line.I get up and inform her that unfortunately they are out of labels to put on the box... the rep gives me a dirty piece of pink paper, says I have to fill it out and go back in line.I do so, then wait another 20 mins, give her the paper and she says I need to buy tape to tape the paper to it. I ask about the tape she just used and she said that's for priority or express. I say fine, ship the box priority. She puts in everything and still says I need to buy the tape. Beyond rude considering they are out of their own labels. I walked out and went to UPS with no issue. No wonder USPS keeps needing annual taxpayer bailouts!

I had a few packages show as delivered but weren't so I contacted usps. They were eventually delivered but I got a call from Louis, of my local PO, too follow up. I'm so impressed, as a new resident of this town. It seemed almost unreal in the era of automated services, to have a human reach out like that. And from a government office, no less. I'll be back at this PO!

I sent a couple items through this location, and about half of my items had issues. Either this location would take forever to send your item off or they would poorly package your item (My item they packaged got sent the buyer broken). The lack of effort is apparent.

This used to be such a nice post office but now it's terrible service and everything is always broken. It's horrible!
