Stop & Shop has two things I like at this location (Putnam Avenue) - the cookies and the live hanging plants outdoors. I keep returning to this location for both. The cookies are consistently in stock, fresh & delicious! A few years ago I bought the hanging strawberry baskets, they've actually survived the cold and produced more fresh berries! As far as grocery items go, the inventory is very limited - lots of things that I need (especially baking ingredients) I cannot find here. The self checkout process is frustrating, but the staff are very friendly & helpful.

I visited the supermarket at night. There was plenty of parking with few people shopping. I found what I was looking for.

Very bad customer service. The manager is not customer friendly. Elizabeth is great but when she's on break no one seem to take her place.

Very different variety of selections. The store itself is so big with approximately over 7 aisles. Clean and modern.

Just tried to buy some beer here, and was turned down, despite presenting my completely legitimate New York State ID. I am 23 years old. The rude woman at the counter stated that the ID looked real, but I looked too young. I told her to scan it, but she simply refused. Will not be returning here.

They have good sales. Fresh produce is my favorite. I also love the mums and got me the cutest pumpkin, just in time for my fall decoration. Staff are so helpful and friendly, specially Pauline, the cashier.

IMO, this just became the worst supermarket in the area after the horrible Stop & Shop in Glenville closed. The building is old and dark. The produce goes off so quickly. Its a much smaller size than a usual Stop & Shop, and much much smaller than a Wegmans. Its rewards porgram's points expire about 2 seconds after they are earned, and when you try to redeem them in store expect the staff to snap back at you. So many other options nearby.

The customer service manager, Elizabeth, is very helpful, polite and professional. She assist customers on the phone and in person. A valuable employee at that sore. Owners take notice.

The cashier was very rude. Could not collect my food fast enough,told me to move my cart while she waited on next in line. I said I'm certainly trying. I thought cashiers were trained to help bag groceries. We are left to bag all our groceries while moving on to the next person? JEN Z generation. ?

A very helpful butcher asked if i needed assistance. He found me the cut I was searching for. He deserves a 5 star review.Problem is that I was charged for something that was seasonally discounted, but should have been free based on signage. And the total amount spent.May only be $5.00, though not the first time that the computer missed a sale/discount. This time, not convenient to return to the location for refund. Frustrating

Buyer beware: I don't trust this particular store's price accuracy. On more than just a few occasions, I've found the Putnam Ave. location marks up their prices noticeably higher than the Stop & Shop app, website or the Port Chester store. The managers claim there's a coupon I have to click to get the lower price but that's not the case with the cauliflower or 2% quart of milk which today both scanned higher than the app where there are no coupons for those items to clip. The managers then had to manually register the discount for me because I proved that the price scan was incorrectly higher than the online prices.

If you’re going to lock the doors at 10:45 then change the online hours. I would take 45 seconds then could pay with cash don’t even need machine
