Raymond was very thorough with getting me fitted for figure skates, he adjusted every detail until it was perfect! Staff was knowledgeable and experienced, they worked to fit my needs in terms of budget and skill level. I ended up getting Jackson brand which Raymond fully adjusted and made ready to skate coming out of the shop. Thank you!

On our 4th pair of skates with Mark, this time went for Edea Piano with Jackson blade ... Mark as always guides us to the right boot & blade, appreciate the time he takes with my teens, no extra charge for mounting or baking skates!

Mark and Jeff are fantastic. After a nearly 20 year hiatus from figure skating, I made an appointment for a fitting and Mark not only was knowledgeable about figure skating but also very encouraging. I tried on multiple models until we found the one that fit my skill level and goals. They go above and beyond to make sure you are getting the boot and blade that would be best for your level. The attention to detail is unlike any place else and Mark’s depth of knowledge of figure skating and personal experience exceed expectations. I drove down from Hudson Valley (about an hour and fifteen minutes) and it was well worth it. They made sure I was suited up with everything I needed to get myself back out onto the ice with a newfound confidence. I can’t recommend them enough! They are great and only place I will go for my skating needs.

Absolutely love Skater's Landing! I have had subpar experiences elsewhere and always try to direct everyone I know who asks to the shop. Its easy to get to from Manhattan, just a train ride from Grand Central and worth the trip!

Referred no to Skater's Landing by my granddaughter's skating coach. The service is very good if you know what want. We have been buying custom fit ice skates, blade sharpening, and accessories for several years from Skater's Landing. The ice skates are not inexpensive but I'm happy with their quality and the excellent fit.

Went here to get my skates sharpened and punched out after a 15-year hiatus from figure skating. These gentlemen were friendly, welcoming and helpful to me and my family (my husband and 2-year old daughter tagged along). Mark is so knowledgeable!! It was the first time my husband got a glimpse of my previous life as a skater, and now he thinks the whole sport is as warm and friendly as the guys at Skaters Landing (ha ha ha)! I plan on returning here for the purchase of my next pair of skates. Support local!! Thanks, guys!!

The BEST shop for figure skating!! Clothes, skates, even random Zuca bag accessories! Not only that...no one, anywhere, is allowed within five miles of my blades with a grinder in-hand except for Alex. He does the most amazing sharpening work, almost like an artist. I won't go anywhere else, or have anyone else do my blades, except for him. Terrific store, wonderful and knowledgeable staff. I really look forward to when I can visit and shop!

Went to skaters landing for bleed and mounting… I would highly recommend them… Very knowledgeable very nice people they didn’t rush me, answered all of the questions, They took their time and the prices were very reasonable… I will definitely be going back there I live in Long Island and traveled to Connecticut about 45 mins to get there they were just absolutely fantastic I cannot say enough good things about the shop

Mark is absolutely amazing. I send all my students here and I've been coming here for as long as I can Remember for all my skating needs. With everything that is going on with the covid 19 pandemic he is working to make sure everybody gets out of there with what they need on their feet to continue skating however he has to make it work for them.

Fantastic shop, awesome experience. I called one day before and Mark managed to find a slot for me for fitting a pair of skates. He is very professional, attentive to details (make sure the boots fit my feet, no heel lift, no squeezing, some wiggle wrong etc. etc.) and adjusted the blade position depending on how I walked. The price is very reasonable (exactly what I expected). The shop has a lighthearted and enjoyable atmosphere.Just make sure you call beforehand to see if they have your size in stock. (They carry lots of brands, Edea, Risport, Jackson etc.)I don't even need to break into the boots, no blisters or weird cramps!
