I ordered a small gift for my husband to celebrate an accomplishment. The item itself was beautiful and high quality. But I want to say that, for all the expensive orders Richards must get, I was so appreciative and touched by the attention to detail and customer service I received. Specifically, they gift wrapped the order beautifully, included a congratulatory gift tag note, and sent a hand written note from the person who put the order together. Above and beyond. Would 100% recommend this store.

Special, special shout-out to Josephine who is the manager. Richards has everything but the staff are what make the place. I’ve been a lifelong Greenwich resident and coming here for years. This weekend on Christmas Eve I ran into an issue with an order I had placed over the phone. I had a full blown meltdown in the store, absolutely gutted that I would have to either stay in the store and miss my family’s holiday festivities while the issue got sorted or have to leave empty handed without Christmas presents.Josephine went above and beyond to fix the issue and was so composed and kind, even when I probably didn’t deserve it. Issue was resolved and quickly, even though they were swamped as it was Christmas Eve. I didn’t end up missing any family time and I left with the gifts. Josephine - thank you so much! I hope you had an amazing holiday with your family.

Mitchells Stores provides customer service that’s unequivocally second to none. Placed an online order for a coat on a Wednesday afternoon and the order was delivered to me the very next day!

Richards is the highest quality service and the finest clothing. Their exceptional staff makes shopping truly enjoyable, and they have a range of high-end well-tailored and truly refined fashion options. It is literally my favorite place to buy myself and family members gifts, I frequent both Richards and Mitchell's in Westport. The other department stores pale in comparison, Richards & Mitchell's are another (far superior) level.

Excellent, high quality, family-owned clothing store with unique items from many high-quality brands. Service was impeccable. Visiting from out of town and needed a summer blazer for an event. I so much prefer this type of experience than a major chain or department store.
