Needed a last minute champagne for NYE,asked for a champagne with sweet notes.One of the two ladies made it a point to show me the cheaper options,although I did not mention a price range.I guess because I was not screaming “old money” with my attire ,she took it up herself to judge my wallet.Ended up recommending a “brut” ,which is actually the less sweet out of the categories ,but at that point I was so disappointed in the customer service,that I didn’t even bother to ask for another one.Will avoid in the future.

I just had a very pleasant experience ordering a gift for a friend in Greenwich. Karina helped to decide on a boutique champagne and made sure it was special and safely delivered. Exactly what I was hoping.

After calling Randy's Wine store in Cos Cob to order an expensive bottle of champagne for a friend I was told the delivery within Cos Cob was too difficult but that certainly wasn't the case with Putnam & Vine!! Allison took my call and my information and was more than happy to deliver as requested to my friend. This is the type of business I want to spend my hard earned $$ with - they went out of their way to support me and to help me get this done for a very deserving friend. Shame on you Randy's....

What a wine/spirits shop should be! A welcome addition to Greenwich, David Johnson and his extremely knowledgable staff have curated a wide range of unique wines and spirits that meet all price points. It was so fun going in on a Saturday to enjoy their weekly tasting and getting to talk wine and entertaining with such a fun crew. Highly recommend for anyone looking to elevate their experience in wine & spirits!
