This place is a disaster when it comes to customer service. The one associate is constantly distracted and helps 2 other people while simulatneously being distracted and not helping the person checking out. To add, today they didn't even have change in the cash register. How pathetic, you don't have $1.27 in change? Blows my mind.

I've always known about Saks Fifth Avenue, but had never actually been in one of their stores until the other day. I'm not at the income level to shop here regularly, however I was looking for some small gifts for the holidays and thought this may be a good place to check out. I was off from work and didn't feel like going to Manhattan, so I decided to drive to Greenwich to check this Saks out. The Saks in Greenwich is located on Greenwich Ave which is home to a number of other high-end retailers. There are actually multiple stores that make up Saks as a whole here - the main store which has women's items, The Vault, the Men's Shop (aka Barney's), and (I think) a women's shoe shop. I decided to first go into the Men's shop to see if anything spoke to me; immediately upon entry I noticed a SA sitting in the vestibule on the phone (she was loud, the call really should have been taken out of customer view/earshot). The merchandise is spread across two floors with a larger selection on the first floor and outerwear upstairs. I wasn't impressed with the merchandise - the selection was very sparse and there seemed to be a disproportionate amount of coats compared to other items. Customer service was a zero - nobody in the store acknowledged me or engaged me in conversation, and they barely made eye contact when they did. It was only after about 10 minutes the woman in the vestibule got off the phone and said hello to me. I was standing by the leather goods and all she said to me was that the items were genuine leather - as if I was assuming they were fake leather shopping at Saks? Whatever - I made one more lap and left. I decided to stop into the main store across the street, and had the same experience. No acknowledgement of my presence and a bunch of SAs standing around chatting. Overall, my experience at Saks in Greenwich was the pits. I really don't think my expectations are off here - I've shopped at other luxury stores before and have had excellent customer service. I know I don't look like a Real Housewife of Greenwich wannabe, but I'm also not a tourist who stumbled in from 5th Ave. Regardless, all customers should be treated with respect. If I ever patron Saks again it will be online, as their in-store experience (at least here in Greenwich) does not match their supposed reputation as a luxury retailer.

I have been to the saks stores in Greenwich avenue many times and let me just say each time I am there I am treated terribly and have the worst experiences. As a younger customer they do not give me the time of day and do not treat me as a customer. They often ignore me, tell me to find someone else to help me or are just rude when they speak to me. The employees here are genuinely so rude. I now actively avoid going into these stores simply because of the terrible customer experiences I consistently have.

NO ONE EVER answers phones. Placed an order in store which was lost and couldn't reach my salesperson or anybody to help me. Ridiculously poor customer service.

Simply trying to call their store. Have tried every department and no one picks up. Ever! I don't leave many reviews, let alone bad, but this is just super annoying and simple when you purchased a bunch of things from their store.

I concur with the other reviews. Elitist attitudes galore and the most sterile shopping experience ever. I went to return shoes that didn't fit correct and was met with dismissive looks and a cold interaction by the staff. I felt like I didn't belong. Zero customer service. I never will go back. I'm not in the 1% but my god I'm also not a hobo. If you want to feel awful about yourself. Come here. They'll feed into any insecurity you ever had.

I shopped here yesterday and had a wonderful experience. From the moment I walked in I was greeted by a very nice woman who helped me with a return. Then I shopped around a bit and went across the street to the mens shop where I was equally greeted with the same wonderful customer service. Some of the not so nice reviews on here of nasty staff or racist staff are probably totally exaggerated. There's nothing but civilized people shopping and working there. People who think everyone is racist are usually the racist ones with the attitude from the start. Can't wait to come back.

No one in the Greenwich Store has the courtesy of answering a phone call. There is no way to get any information from staff members in this store. How frustrating and definitely not customer friendly! This store is a major disappointment. Are the comments at the bottom of this box really necessary?

I never experienced classism til I went shopping at saks fifth ave in Greenwich. Sales rep followed me around the entire store, inspecting items after I touched them followed by rude remarks about me wanting to exchange a pair of Christian Louboutins that didn't fit. She made me feel as if I was inconveniencing her at all times, was also rude to my disabled two year old. I should've walked away the minute she looked at my son and I from head to toe after first approaching her.

Yelp said opens 10 an. Here now obviously not. 12 pm. Saks is a legit business and should monitor Yelp so it has the right info.

Although small (and spread out by department), this is likely to become our favorite Saks location given the incredible SAs here. I needed a Celine handbag, and it was so easy to call this location and find a very helpful, super polite SA named Kemi who was able to quickly locate what I needed so I could pick it up when I stopped by. I was also helped by a male SA who was equally as courteous and professional. I will definitely be switching over to Kemi and her associate as my regular SAs for Saks. Highly, highly recommended!

Unless you are from Greenwich, white, and wearing a designer Tux and Gown on your wife while shopping at 3pm during the week, it's not worth shopping at this elitist racist boutique department store! During a brief visit to their "Vault" while making a $4,000 purchase, the Sales Rep asked my wife where she was from and why she had an accent! Based on my wife's response, the sales rep then attempted to charge us an extra $300 on the transaction claiming it was a luxury tax thereby defrauding the State of CT and us, then did credit card fraud on our card that we no longer had in our hands. Sales Rep doesn't know the first thing about COVID protocol and kept grabbing our hands! Management could care less... why anyone would shop here with this kind of abuse and racist treatment is beyond me.
