Dreadful experience; I had purchased from them several times before, and simply wanted to purchase what I had in the past. The items were not in stock; I had a painful fracture so could not go to the shop. The incompetent sales girl convinced me that she had items which were identical to the ones I wanted, and blithely took my charge card over the phone, billing me exorbitantly. i sent my Home Health Aid to the store to pick up the parcels; they gave her no receipt stating later that they do not give receipt to the cusomer's "help."Over a week later I still had no receipt sent to my email, and had to call the store to obtain one. Unacceptable.The first sales person admitted to the error and agreed that it should be remedied. I then spoke to another sales person, who deferred to the owner. The owner (Lynne) tersely emailed me, communicating that the pillow cases could not be returned notwithstanding the fact that her employee had made a material misrepresentation as to what they had sold me. She told me that because I was in pain and had no choice to use them on the night of the day that my Aid picked them up, they were not re-saleable and therefore she would not honor replacing the pillowcases with the correct ones. These pillow cases were so different from the ones I wanted, that the store's actions were little more than fraud. They had sold me their own two pillows and insisted that the pillowcases would fit snugly on the pillows; I am left with pillow cases that are way too large for the pillows and give the pillows a floppy unsightly appearance.To add insult to injury, i had spent over $500.00 dollars on a set of Designer Guild sheets during the past year subject to a credit for approximately $180.00.The $180 dollar credit dated to 2020. Due to the Pandemic, I could not come to the store to order nor pick them up. The store has no delivery service and their answering service actually stated "if you have a rotary phone" (use it). This strongly suggests that the store needs to come into the twenty- first century if it wants to keep its customer base.I was informed that the store would not honor the credit because it dated to 2020. They actually publicized the credit on the new receipt and rudely blamed me for not using the credit promptly when they were for the most part inaccessible or otherwise closed during the pandemic.The desire to endorse local mom and pop shops ends when they treat their customers so awfully. Shame on them. Now I have to report them to The Better Business Bureau and The Department of Consumer Protection, and to dispute the charge with my credit card company.They still have my card on file, and made no representation that they woulddestroy the information contained on the card. Bad business.

Disappointed. Lovely merchandise but have found customer service consistently weak. Lack of follow up has been consistent when orders have been placed or when inquiries were made regarding items or pricing. Not what one would expect.

I love the owner! I love the wonderful women who have worked there forever, at least 26 years!! I love the GGGGGORGEOUS sheets, the fluffy bestest towels, the fine linen embroidered tissue box covers, the soaps, the blanket covers, the placemats, I must have 6 sets of luscious napkins, French laundry towel wash. There is more packed into the shop than you could ever dream of! If they ever close I'd have to leave town! Lol Their biggest fan!!

Upgrading to 5 stars. I keep going back to this store for all my bedding for a reason. The staff is fantastics and will really take the time to help you design what you want for the bed. They also have a great selection of towels and other items for the home. This is the home store that I return to the most often. Also, a suggestion - buy your pillows and comforter here. Wow.

The owner of this store is terrible. She takes advantage of other small business owners and does not run an honest business. Do not shop at her store. Egregious shop owner, terrible customer service, lackluster products.

Incredible store with incredible bedding and bath items as well as a platinum level of customer service. I don't think I've ever been treated better or had as much fun shopping as I did at Lynnens. Lynne and her team are true professionals, and the selection and quality of their items are amazing. There is another luxury store a town or two over -- and let's just say that Lynnens puts them to shame.
