I called for a quote for some siding. I let them know I'll call them back if I decided to move forward. I called back and to my surprise I was met with an angry representative. "What do you want me to do about it" was his response. Who's hiring these guys? ? An embarrament for the company.

Unbelievably unfriendly, unprofessional sales person in the window department. I have been buying siding, columns etc. at Interstate Lumber for years and never had a bad experience. Today, I had to walk out and will take my business elsewhere. I told the salesperson that he is extremely unfriendly and that I don't need that attitude. On my way out he taunted me. Why still work if customers seem to bother you as soon as they enter the showroom.

If it's quality construction this is where you have to buy. Everything in wood to build new walls, moldings for exteriors and interiors. All types of doors, very professional staff and always attentive to what you need to build your projects.

Purchased baseboards of excellent quality, made of solid poplar and primed. The cost was similar to what another lumber yard was charging for finger-jointed pine. Fernando was excellent to work with over the phone. Arranged prompt delivery free of cost.

I've been working with Interstate for over 20 years and am part of a second generation general contracting company. My dad has been dealing with them for 4 decades.Throughout the existence of our company, we've seen many mill companies come and go. Interstate has been a staple for our company ever since we started our business. I have nothing but good things to say about how their company is run. We have been dealing with the same reps for over 20 years and could not be more ecstatic about their service, knowledge and professionalism. They are my go to place for lumber, doors, windows and hardware. I could not recommend anyone in the same regard as I would Interstate. Many companies come and go over the years, but the best seem to always find a way to remain and be there when you need them. Cheers to the best in the industry. Long live Interstate.
