Easy to do business with and transparent. Chris Carfora listened to our concerns, was accommodating to our needs and navigated us to the best fit for us. His transparency gained our trust. He was reasonable with numbers and treated us with respect. Not once did he revert to sales tactics; manipulation, leading questions or forcing us to close the deal. We have been dealing with Acura of Stamford for over a year now to have our Acura MDX fix for a P0300 code (multiple misfire). My wife had taken the vehicle over to the dealership several times. They've charged her for maintenance that were partly done and some not done at all. Based on the invoices, spark plugs, ignition coils, gasket set and all valve adjustment (all 24) were performed. The ECM was claimed to be reset, car tested and normal operation restored. Several months after getting the vehicle back from the dealership, the check engine light came back for misfires to #4 and #6 cylinders. Seeing things were not adding up, I accompanied my wife back to the dealership. I questioned the service manager on the maintenance that were supposedly performed. I asked why they had not performed cylinder compression test but I could not get a clear answer. They kept the vehicle one last time to try to remedy the problem. On the day of picking up the vehicle, they handed her two invoice sheets stating they've replaced two more coils and performed the compression tests. Based on their data, all cylinders checked good with the exception of cylinder #5 which read below half the psi of what the others read. We were told we have a bad engine because of it and we'll need an engine replacemeant.However, upon further inspection of the engine and parts claimed to be replaced by the dealership, it was discovered very little maintenance was performed. Intake plenum and valve covers do not appeared to have been disturbed, only 4 of the ignition coils look new and all six engine cylinders read over 170+ psi of compression which is definitely good. But the check engine light still exists.We certainly demand a refund for the amount of money and time we've spent and dealt with all the lies.

Acura of Stamford Was one of the best experiences I have gotten in a long time. After multiple attempts at two different dealerships, unable to purchase my car and get a good rate, I stumbled upon Acura of Stamford.The sales representative that assisted me was Christopher Carfora, He made it seem so easy. I was about one hour away from their dealership and he was able to help me over the phone with the entire process. He got me an amazing interest and low monthly payments compared to other dealerships.I had to drive to Stanford on a rental that my insurance company rented for me, and I had to return it at enterprise, and Christopher went over and beyond and googled the nearest enterprise near their dealership and direct me to them. He then picked me up from there and took me to the dealership to finish the final touches to finalize the deal.I have not met someone from beginning to end with such customer service made it feel like a concierge service. If you ever go to Acura of Stanford, please please please ask for Christopher. He is very honest and upfront and tell you how it is. You could tell he’s been doing this for a very very long time.Thank you again Acura Stanford, and most of all thank you Christopher for all your help.

Nice people but very poor customer service for out of state buyers. I have been waiting for my New York plates for 4 months! I have called several times and each time they will say next week and the plates never come. The dealership never updates me, I have to call them. Very poor overall experience.If there was an issue with the title, it should have been resolved before the car was listed for sale.Poor experience!

I recently went to Acura of Stamford for just a test drive and was greeted with Christopher In sales. He made the experience cool calm and collect. His knowledge of the automotive industry was spot on without being the typical pushy salesman. I'd definitely recommend buying from them with the added benefit of no markups!
