“I have been a customer of Charles Schwab forever (well, at least since 1987). As the nearest location to our new home in Westport when we moved from Manhattan in 2009, I selected the Fairfield CT location as my servicing office. I was never satisfied with their quality of service. Therefore, when I had a relatively complicated issue to resolve in April 2023, I decided to try the Greenwich office for a change. I was not disappointed.I was met in the lobby by Lecia Lupoli, Client Service Specialist. I explained what assistance I needed, which was to reverse a 2022 Roth IRA contribution, open a Traditional IRA, and transfer the 2022 contribution from the Roth to the Traditional IRA. All to be completed before the tax filing deadline of 04/18 (I visited Schwab on 04/07).Lecia spent the next hour working only with me to complete each of the several steps necessary to resolve the situation, until all of the necessary steps were completed. I was given a hard copy of the paperwork, and received a text confirming that Schwab was actively working to make sure the transaction was completed and settled in a timely manner.Lecia went above and beyond my expectations. Consequently, I have requested that the Schwab office in Greenwich be coded as my new "home" office location.Thank you.TWJ (Westport, CT)”
