There is a reason Elate gets so many good reviews - they are incredible. We just used them for a more complicated international move (New York to British Columbia) and they could not have been better. Nick who I corresponded with via email answered my millions of questions super quickly. And our lead mover, Dennis, was amazing - he handled all our things with care, arrived on time and delivered on time and was lovely to deal with. Thank you Elate!

The guys at Elate moving are the most hard-working people I've ever seen. Giorgi and his team are worth every penny and so much more. They never stopped moving - for 2 days straight, packed up everything my family owns with great care and unpacked with just as much care,putting all the furniture back together again. They found over a hundred dollars in my daughter's room alone and handed it right over to me. They were thoughtful, friendly and worked every minute. I cannot recommend them enough.

First time using movers and they made the experience a memorable one. I will never move without movers again. They were punctual, efficient, responsive, and very professional! I've used the Elate Moving's services two times. One time when I moved from Jersey City, NJ to Manhattan, NYC in 2017 [Studio apt]. And one more time in November/2019 to move from Manhattan, NYC to downtown Washington, D.C. [1 bdr apt] In both times, they were exceptionally on time, professional, and very helpful. They were so quick at both loading and unloading times and very timely at getting all the required permit(s) beforehand. I feel like I can trust them with all my belongings, and they would not let me down. As soon as I sign the contract, I got a piece of mind. I am now adding pics below. Oh, they also cleaned up before departing and text me a pic of the apt. Thank you guys for everything!! Update: 10/01/2021 Once again, I've used their services (- It's been two years since the last time.) The quality of their work is still impressive. Timing-wise they are still doing great. Very quick and responsive to e-mails. They're literally my Go-to movers' company at this point. Thanks guys, keep up the good work.

I was moving our team's office and Elate took care of everything. They were super fast while also taking care to wrap and be gentle with some of our older and more delicate items. I don't know how they got some of our furniture out because those pieces were really heavy. But it was all done quickly and professionally. Loved working with them and definitely plan to in the future.

Slava's team was incredible. They are efficient and proficient in what they do. They used extreme care and wrapped our furniture with precision. They were punctual and didn't stop working the whole day. I'm glad we hired them and will hire them again in the future. We also had a piano in the move which is no easy task and they handled it with extreme care.

We have used Elate Moving twice. Once to move across the country from California to Connecticut. They were amazing. Just amazing. Everything went smoothly and they went above and beyond in many ways. That was in 2017. We just used them again (in 2021) to move across town and had a different experience. They wrapped things well and got everything to the new house undamaged. However, the crew leader was curt, sometimes rude, unprofessional, and not willing to do all that we asked, even though they finished in 5-6 hours (the original estimate was for 8) and charged us the full amount. We reached out to Elate Customer Service and they explained their point of view regarding the things that transpired. They offered us a 10% refund. Since there are not a lot of great movers out there, in our experience, they may be worth a shot: just be very clear up front about what you need and expect.

Tommy and the team did a great job making my move easy from Greenwich to Florida! The team that moved me packed and wrapped all of the furniture and art work very thoroughly.All items arrived undamaged. They came and arrived on schedule for pick up and delivery in Florida.Charges were as stated in contract. Tip is at your discretion but expected and appreciated.I would highly recommend them to handle a move and in retrospect would have them do the full packing service versus just partial.

I was relocating from NYC to Toronto and was in need of movers who could understand the logistics of moving between countries, provided good service, were professional, and were responsive. This is exactly what Elate Movers provided. Ask for Slava and his team, they are the best. They arrived on the day of at exactly the agreed time. Without causing me any hassle, the team was on their job, neatly dissembling every furniture, navigating the small spaces of NYC apartment to load them into their trucks. I had to use their storage facility and then they arrived in Toronto again on exactly the right date and time I had asked for, quickly unloading and assembling all my furniture, with no damage or lost goods. All my trepidation and worries about moving between countries were easily solved by them. The paperwork and correspondence was clear. Slava is a very professional individual with care for all your concerns.

Had two teams to move my elderly Mother out of her Condo in CT; one taking some items to my home in VA and another taking items to storage in CT. Both teams were on time prepared, and courteous, and packed items carefully but quickly. I am very satisfied and would recommend them to anyone looking for Movers.

YOU GUYS ARE THE BEST!!! My mother relocated out of Manhattan and had to move EVERYTHING! I was so impressed with the movers' attention to detail, care and thoughtfulness employed with each and every piece they wrapped. Her furniture is mostly antiques and irreplaceable. Not a scratch could be found on anything after all was said and done. They were able to pack up her entire apartment and get it loaded onto a truck in less than 3 hours and we are talking about an apartment that has heavy solid wood furniture. When we arrived at our destination - a pre war building with an elevator that was never meant to carry an over 7-foot tall solid wood armoire, they CARRIED IT UP THREE FLIGHTS OF STAIRS!!! Again, not a scratch! We were truly amazed and so grateful that they were able to accomplish this herculean task. There are movers but ELATE is above and beyond the rest. I am sorry that this review is a few days late - but I had to create another email address because I have used Elate 2x in the last 4 months. I guess google doesn't understand NYC renters. This is my 4th time using Elate in 5 years.
