Am a Bank of America customer and added Citibank accounts. The Banks of America customer service is far superior to Citibank. You cannot get anyone on the phone and when you do they are in South American and do absolutely nothing. Complete waste of time. This is the fourth time I needed cusotmer service - first was a fraul alert and could not get anyone on the line. Could not make the purchase during the holidays. Second was a deposit which I could not get any information when it would be available. Citibank takes their sweet time holding onto your money. Third questions re direct deposit and why they took so long with the direct deposit. Fourth an immediate cancelation of a charge from Amazon. Again, Amazon states they refuned and Citbank takes their sweet time returning my money. Folks in South America just listen with an attitude and then keep repeating the same nonsense. I will close the account as soon as I can switch my direct deposits back to Bank of America and will never use Citbank again. Oh and forget reaching the actual branch. Noone picks up the phone and you end up back in circles to South America. Terrible and a huge waste of my time.

fine branch from banking standpoint but very difficult to find parking. they have some spots in adjacent lot but those are not always available. Additionally street parking is sparse and there is only one handicapped accessible spot nearby on the street (not related to the bank at all). not very accessible branch

I have to start by stating that I am reviewing my interaction with one individual at the bank. I have been a customer for decades and service has otherwise been professional. Yesterday I went to see one of the bankers who I interact with on a regular basis to ask questions about how I would go about starting a particular business. I knew that she had a degree in business and was potentially savy. At one point we started to discuss business loans. That is when she introduced me to the banker that handles the small business loans. I found this individual to be increadibly condescending, offensive, and confrontational. He literally began to demand in an aggressive tone if I had a certain amount of cash to pay off a loan, THEN questioned my credentials even though through his line of "questioning" it was clear that he had a rudimentary working knowledge of my field. He said that he only lends funds to existing businesses. When I said that I would likely not seek that (as their are many options to do what I want to do) His response was a sarcastic "OK, everyone needs a loan at some point or another" which to me was another sign of just how disrespectful this individual is- Even to his own clients. so all in all I would say that the branch is a fine place to do business...except in the small business loan department. SKIP IT. There are too many sources of funding out there to put up with this behavior.
