Not being from the area, I would have never known about this bookstore but thanks to the CT Book Trail, I can now confidently say that I'll make the occasional trip back here just to experience it again.”

“This is an independent bookstore with a friendly staff. I am a fantasy reader and that selection was not that big, but they have a lot of fiction and a beautiful children’s section!”

“Nice little bookstore, not an enormous selection, but they have a lot of current books, and some best sellers, and you can always ask them to get the book you're looking for. I usually find at least one book I'm interested in. Good children's section in the back as well, with cushions for the little ones to sit at and read. The people working there are always very friendly and helpful.”

I definitely recommend popping in if you're in the area. The owner is very friendly and has been running the business for 35+ years. They can also order books for you if you're looking for a particular title that is not in stock.”
