Horrible experience at this baccarat location. The staff treated me like a thief and liar. Purchased a butterfly that was not in stock so they took my info down and charged my credit card. Item never came so I called multiple times to get a proper refund. They never issued a refund over a one year span Finally drove there a year later and the manager claimed she refunded me and implied that I was lying . I was with a friend and they treated me like I lied even in front of her which was embarrassing. I wrote the manager about the horrible way they treated me and she told me I would be compensated for the inconvenience which I have written proof of . After a couple days she then wrote me that they changed their mind and no compensation would be given even though I had to drive 2 hours to get my money back . I called customer service and they told me someone would get back to me which also never happened. I was treated horribly here and don’t recommend this branch to anyone. For a luxury brand this place and staff treat their customers horribly.

The rudest salesperson I have ever met. Wouldn't let me in the store even though it was supposed to be open for another 20 minutes. I tried to explain I knew exactly what i wanted and would be in and out in 5 minutes but she literally rolled her eyes at me through the door, threw up her hands and walked away and wouldn't let me in. Do not patronize this store.

I agree with the horrible customer service comments. I went into return a gift and the woman began reading me their policy. I didn't know because I didn't buy the gift. They don't give credit. You have to exchange immediately. If you want Baccarat, buy it from a department store.

Lorraine is an absolute delight. A luxury brand with big reputation but the store management lends itself to a personal experience.

Buyer Beware: Baccarat does not return items purchased as a gift, which are not right for the recipient; only store credit. This would be acceptable as a policy, although questionable, if the buyer is informed at the time of purchase. This was not my experience and I suspect other buyers are similarly entrapped. When this was stated, I was told, “it’s on the receipt.” Of course, the receipt is given only after purchase when it’s too late. Is this the new French way of doing business? I never experienced this in London or Paris Baccarat stores where numerous business gifts were purchased. I can guarantee this is the last time I buy from Baccarat…except to use up the credit I now have to carry!!

Baccarat is a wonderful line, and thus I enjoy the boutique located conveniently along the Avenue. I have been coming here for several years now, and have found many excellent gifts here. The selection is great, between the stemware and barware, and the other decorative items. The woman who is there (short and blonde) is simply excellent. Every time I come in, I am greeted warmly. She has helped me choose several excellent pieces, and is always very informative about the merchandise. Several days ago, I went in looking for a Christmas gift, and was shown an exquisite bowl in the traditional Baccarat crystal styling. It was wonderful, and something I never would have known about had I looked online. It is this attention to detail and excellent service that makes in-person shopping so good. I have also ordered online from the boutique and it is ready to be retrieved when I stop by. This shop is a wonderful asset to Greenwich Avenue and I would strongly recommend it for the discriminating.

We felt such ugliness and tension from the employee. When a familiar face entered the store they were received with hospitality. It was offensive.

We felt such ugliness and tension from the employee. When a familiar face entered the store they were received kindly. It was offensive. We left and couldn't help share our experience to the salespersons at the next store. The employees there said they learned the hard way to not send their customers to the 'glass coffin'. The humor helped.

After purchasing a piece of jewelry, they never asked me my name, never asked if they should wrap it for a gift and finally placed my purchase in a plain white paper bag instead of baccarat one... Are you serious?! As we know part of why we pay extra money is not just quality of the product, but quality of the service. Quality of the service has to match the product, not just look pretty themselves... They need to cater and SERVE the customer... They make no effort... Just want a sale...

Horrible customer service. I fire my employees on the spot if they talk to customers like that. Go else where if you need to to buy a present. Not this store. There are so many stores on Greenwich Avenue with fantastic customer service, selling beautiful glass vases. Some have Baccarat as well. I will never ever walk into that store and subject myself to rudeness of the Baccarat sales people. I do not recommend this store to anyone. STAY AWAY!
