Stopped by to pick up two pairs of pants that were put on hold for me today.Paid for the pants and then starting looking around on my way out the door. Was approached by a young woman, sales associate, who asked if I could give her my bag with the pants I had purchased because their policy was to hold onto shoppers' bags while they looked around. There were many other women, white, in the store shopping with their bags. I was the only brown woman in the store and I was the only one approached with this "request". I think your staff thought I was going to steal things in my shopping bag. Sometimes I forget I am brown because I have lived in this country for 45 years. Today, I was very unpleasantly and rudely reminded. Athleta, stop hiring racist staff. I will not be giving you my money any more.

Clothing wise? Cool stuff. Consumer minded? Meh! The Greenwich store has this ginormous ad on the window advertising their ‘semi annual sale of 60% off’ currently, which is what attracted me to go inside hunting for a Sherpa jacket I had my eye on.Upon walking in, an associate asked me if I she could help me find anything and I asked ‘so everything is on sale?!’ She gave me a roundabout response basically indicating that the sale ONLY applied to mark downs. Items already on sale. Full priced items were NOT on sale. So hmmm, yeah. The ginormous ad in their window?! A total bait and switch.CT consumer laws are very much against it, dear Gap, as can be found on their portal:“Advertising BasicsHowever you choose to promote your products or services, whether it is through social media, print media, radio, internet or television, your advertisements for goods and services for sale in Connecticut must be fair and accurate, not misleading nor deceptive.Regulations under the Connecticut Unfair Trade Practices Act (CUTPA) describe numerous advertising methods that are deemed unfair trade practices; you should avoid these problematic methods.Violators are subject to fines and penalties under CUTPA, in addition to possible court-ordered restitution or punitive damages.”I’m gonna take my money somewhere else that shows some respect for their clients!

Great store with wonderful team members! I was a bit distracted while in store today so wanted to write a review to thank the staff. They are super helpful and knowledgeable about the products! Bravo to all. You definitely make the shopping experience at this store easier and more enjoyable! Thank you! Athleta should be proud to have you as salespeople!

Great place, great people. Very helpful and knowledgeable. The materials they use are just terrific! Niece and comfortable! They even have like a business to go area. Got the cutest black dress, cinched at the waist that can go from beach to dinner! Ligh as a feather! In love with their clothes!

I was seriously impressed with the level of customer service at Athleta in Greenwich, CT. I was helped by numerous employees who seem to work like a well oiled machine. The staff was working as a team to help me find exactly what I was looking for, the right sizing and even reached out to other stores when something I wanted wasn’t in stock at that location. It happened to be my first time shopping there but certainly won’t be my last.

I came in at 5:45 pm today to look for some new leggings. There were 3 or 4 sales associates and they were very nice once I asked for help. They were nice enough to stay open until 6:20 pm while I tried on a few pairs of leggings. I give them each stars for patience!! I love my purchase and will buy more in the future. Great quality materials and a nice clean store!!

Honestly disappointed with this location. An associate asked if I needed assistance and I included her in my private discussion on finding a bra with my partner only to have her treat me rudely and give me misinformation regarding the products and the brand. She didn't know about "sister sizes" 32D can equal 34C, etc. She was very defensive and said a bunch of strange misinformed things to essentially blame me for their products not fitting and working as they used to in previous iterations. Their sizing is pretty inaccurate and their staff isn't knowledgeable enough to adjust you accordingly. We both left with the strangeness of her demeanor stuck in our minds.
