“ShopRite was created in the 1940s by a bunch of small grocery stores coming together to create one entity. They also own Price Rite, which was a very affordable grocery store I used to go to in Rhode Island. This place reminded me of Publix in Florida. There were plenty of cash registers open and I love the self checkouts. The store was large and clean. The bakery section had baked fresh items. I loved the prepared foods section; the smell made me salivate. Pro tip: don't go there hungry. They had rotisserie chicken, prepared sides, sushi, and fresh produce. If you want to preorder a cake, download their app and schedule a pickup. I think the prices were comparable to other standard grocery stores nearby. Overall, a good market to get all your grocery shopping needs.”

255 W Main St, Avon“Super underrated for hanging flower baskets ($14.99 each) as opposed to close to $30 each elsewhere. Just have to spend some time picking through the best ones but it'll be worth it.”
“Big Y has everything I want and need. Huge healthy/Organic/veg/vegan choices.. Best locally grown tables in produce. Fish dept. is really well run with very friendly staff! You will find everything you need and more here with really friendly/helpful staff.”

163 Mountain Rd, Suffield“So this is just based on my experience with the front store, I've never used the pharmacy. It's a good size Walgreens, although the seasonal section is small. The aisles are generally clean and free of clutter, and the store is well lit. I've never had a prolonged wait to check out, which is a fine thing if you're going to movies right after. ;-)”
“i write this late review to give credit to an employee who helped my wife and I at the self checkout.
we were there thursday march 7 at approximately 9:12pm.
we were at the self checkout and the machine had issues processing a couple of items we were purchasing.
the employee was a white male wearing glasses. he was super helpful, courteous, professional and very friendly.
if every employee at every business had his work ethic businesses would make much more money because customers would return for the great customer service.
we apologize for not knowing his name, we wanted to give him credit for his great customer service.”
