Maple View Farm established in 1950 and has been farming on 50 acres in Granby, CT. As a farm, they grow vegetables and fruits as well as raise animals such as chickens, ponies, horses, and pigs. They also have a brewery onsite, called Maple View Brewery (I've reviewed that as well.)
It's a beautiful property with plenty of parking. The brewery barn serves delicious beers and a couple of cocktails. The restrooms were clean. There were plenty of seating outside; picnic tables, chairs, fire pits, and even a play area for the kids. There was a tire swing and some tire obstacles. There is a farmhouse that is used as an Airbnb too. They also have a horse barn and offer pony rides for a fee. It is kid-friendly and dogs are allowed on a leash and outside.
We went on Sunday and a band was setting up to perform. They were also grilling some food. I've been in the winter and in the autumn, both times were fun but it is better when it's warmer out so you can sit outside. The seating inside can be limited on a cold and busy day. The service was always good too. One issue was, the bees were rampant; the beer tender said it's because they were using cinnamon sugar rim on the pumpkin beers lol. Overall, a fun place to hang out and we always enjoy our visits.

8.14.22 Big farm type venue with pigs and ponies. They also have a big open field with firepit, stage for live music, tire swings for kids. So bring a blanket or chair because you'll want to stay a bit. Sipping a beer with spectacular views of the sky, people watch, listen to music, this is your place. Good beer served by good people. Cheers! Let's support CT local businesses.

Love this place. Beautiful rural farm right on the border between Massachusetts and Connecticut. Excellent homemade beer and food. Good music listened to the old-fashioned way in a comfy chair outdoors in the sun. Even has fire pits and play areas for the kids and even pony rides.

We attended the vendor fair 7/30/23 what a great venue. So many vendors. My husband enjoys a cold brew while I shopped. The music was great. The staff directing traffic was spot on. Everything was run smoothly. And if it wasn’t we couldn’t tell. What a lovely time

This will be an abbreviated review because we didn't have the time to stay and try food but we really wanted to and will certainly be back.We tried the Brewery at Maple View Farm and we shocked at how busy it was. We arrived at 1pm on a Sunday, Waze says it's opens at 1p however their website says noon and we should've gone with noon. Holy busy for a place we've never been before. There were vendors, don't know if that's a regular occurrence or just this weekend but there was everything there from homemade crochet and pens to replacement windows and welded art.The beers were pretty good, I had an IPA and my wife had a fruit beer and both were better than I expected. They were served in mason jars which was pretty cool. The food smelled delicious and they had a pretty good selection. And the staff was very friendly. The vibe was pretty cool and we will definitely make the trek back soon. I'll post an update when we do, including pics.

So happy to come across this wonderful hidden gem! After a hot, sticky hike at McClean Preserve, this was just down the road... love the open air atmosphere, barnstock, homestead decor... best of all, delish homebrews and they fill any growler! Nice folks and they also have live music on Sat afternoons. A must visit!! Family friendly as there is food and ice cream and pony rides!

My friend dragged me there for Jeep night. Every Jeep driver was given a ticket for a free beer.Staff was very polite and friendly. The setting is a beautiful working farm. We wished they had more seating and better food options. The food was really 2 young guys burning hotdogs on a grill. Seating was very limited. However the friendliness and beautiful setting makes this spot a 4 star. It had a comfortable vibe.

Their beers are fantastic and their laid-back atmosphere was perfect for our whole family. We enjoyed the farm food, tasted farm-made alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages, and made s’mores in their fire pit. We loved that we could sample the beers with a flight! Will definitely be back soon.

I came here on a sunny Sunday afternoon after seeing a segment on the local news about their maple beer. Intrigued, I made a plan to check it out and invited my dad along for the ride. It's pretty easy to get to and find, be warned that you'll be parking a a grassy/muddy lot, so don't wear new shoes! It's a farm, and it looks and smells like one, so don't expect anything fancy. There's some outdoor seating, like chairs and Adirondacks, but we headed straight inside to the brewery for what we came for. The maple beer was okay, probably not something I'd order again, but we found some seats in a cozy corner of the room and watched some NCAA basketball. If you want to make a quick stop to try something and enjoying it a small, cozy spot, this is a place you can try. I did notice they had some snacks for purchase.

Our favorite brewery around the area! Laid back atmosphere on a fun working farm. Live music, campfires and lots of room for kids to run around. Fresh farm food and s’mores. Love that the farm makes their beer using local ingredients that support other small businesses. The seasonal beers are my favorite - maple, apple graf, pumpkin, and the staple cranberry.
