I never write negative reviews, but the way I have been treated is unacceptable. I am a huge supporter of small businesses, so I was happy to give them a shot. I brought in a backpack for the zipper to be replaced. He took a deposit, and I was quoted a week. I had to contact him a week later only to be told it could not be done. Ok, fine. I accepted a refund of my deposit.
I had a shirt to be altered, so I dropped it off on 10/2 - 3 weeks before the event I need it for. I was again quoted a week. I stopped in on 10/9, after not hearing from them for a week, was told they needed more time because he just got back from having Covid (this was stated on 10/9 that he had been back for two days) and had a backlog of work. I was promised it would be another couple days. Fine. Now over two weeks have passed (10/17) and I had to call; only to be told that 1) it was set aside by the tailor he outsources to and couldn't be done 2) he failed to communicate with me because he had Covid (again, he told me on 10/9 that he had just returned, and I heard nothing for ten days) and 3) I was being rude for expressing frustration that my shirt is now - 15 days later - unaltered and I need it for Monday. There was no communication, no apology, no accountability. Just "I hAd CoViD!" - which while I recognize is a reason to miss work, blaming it for your mistakes it is not an excuse to treat your customers this way. By means of a solution, I was told I could contact the tailor in Agawam to get my shirt returned, or wait until Saturday morning when it will be back in his shop. I now have a shirt that is 3 sizes too big and can't wear it to the event, despite dropping it off weeks ago.
DO NOT USE FOR TIME SENSITIVE ITEMS OR IF YOU WANT COMMUNICATION ABOUT YOUR ITEMS!!!

The new owner went out of his way to get my unique project completed in a matter of days for a birthday gift!!! His tailor was away and he was able to get help from a local business owner in Suffield. Not only was it completed fast it is great quality and was a very fair price!! I will definitely be using them for all my future dry cleaning and tailoring needs!

I was very pleased with the customer service, Ray is very polite and friendly, it’s my first time there and he made it comfortable for me to leave my jeans to be altered and the cost was very reasonable.

Under new ownership! I met the owner today when I picked up a pair of pants I had hemmed and dropped off a second pair. (So friendly and personable) It’s great to have a reliable dry cleaners that can take care of alternations, too.

I am SO impressed with Ray!!! I travelled across the country with my wedding dress & needed it pressed a week before my wedding.
Ray was so incredibly responsive and accommodating with my last minute needs and he made sure that my dress was perfect.
He was so kind & so helpful with EVERYTHING.
