Do not pay with a check at this Walgreens. They took my elderly mom's check at the pharmacy, processed it as an 'ACH', automated clearing house, then handed it back to her. Three weeks later the same check number, amount and date was processed as if she gave them the check again, which she did not. She never went to the store on the day the second withdrawal was presented by Walgreens. Withdrawals appeared two months in a row, one in April, one in May. Walgreens says it is the banks fault for processing the check twice. MTBank said it is Walgreens fault for presenting it once as ACH and once as a normal check. MTBank is 'researching' it for over two months while my mom is still out over $200!Other than that, the pharmacy has been a big help with all of her prescriptions.

They move really fast to fill scripts. Kind staff. It’s fantastic. Great toy selection and lots of other essentials in a more isolated part of town makes this place essential. Thanks for being great

Walgreens advertises vaccinations, and the convenience of making an appointment. HOWEVER, after you schedule the appointment and answer all the questions on line, including health questions and your doctors name address and phone number, you arrive to be told that their system does not interphase, and you must provide all that information again. Then you learn that your appointment means nothing and that you must just wait behind all the walk ins. Even though the web shows appointments every 20 minutes, and which ones are available, giving the impression that they will provide service at the scheduled time, it is just a sham to get you into the store, and means absolutely nothing. (Unlike Quest, which actually honors appointments and takes you in when scheduled). I showed up on time and waited 45 minutes because there were 5 walk ins ahead of me.

I really love having this Walgreen's this close. While I have, by habit, grown accustomed to CVS, this one wins me over for (1) location near my home, (2) great stock of items I want (like ice cream), and amazing staff. Sale prices are great. Really exceptional neighborhood store.

It's been years since I worked this close to Walgreens in this part of Glastonbury. I'd forgotten how absolutely fabulous the staff members are at this Walgreens. Without a doubt, best customer service in a drug store or quite frankly, any chain store!! Extremely helpful without smothering you with overly phony customer service skills. If I'm at work and need something from them I'll go there always. Keep up the great work!!
