Third time going to quest in the past 3 years, once on Connecticut Blvd in East Hartford CT and twice on New London Tpke in Glastonbury CT. Each time with an appointment, text message and email confirmations. Upon arrival I enter a sterile room with 2 kiosks, a television and chairs lined on the outer walls of the room. There is a single door with a large metal push button combination lock. The environment is extremely distopian and unsettling. I used the kiosk, as I have the years prior with previous appointments. I was allowed to check in and even scan the front and back of my license. I was then instructed to take a seat and I would be called shortly. After about 40 minutes, and seeing several other that have come after me who were called, attended to and left, I tried to interrupt an attendant who came to the door to call another name. When she returned she was unable to find any exitance of my appointment from the kiosk and told I was either mistaken or came to the wrong location. She put me back in as a walk in and luckily, I only had a 10 minute wait. Last year with the same situation the kiosk wasn't accepting walk ins and only allowing new appointments in the future date. When I was finally called, my attendant wasn't necessarily rude but did have a cold sterile demener accepting my order, a single question while tapping on a keyboard, drawing her vials, and finally stating I could leave. My only word to describe this visit, "processed".

The most unprofessional, uncoordinated, and unorganized establishment I've ever been to. Attempted to get my son's labs drawn 3 different occasions and after waiting for 50min being turned away AGAIN. So disappointing and frankly a waste of time. Don't bother coming here. Quest- do better.

We had a horrible experience with the tech in room #4. I brought my 89-year-old mother in for blood work. Tech had the worst attitude; she was insulting and very unprofessional. After her several condescending remarks, I asked her if she was in a bad mood, which made her more rude. Then I asked her her name, and she replied, "Um, I don't know." she refused to complete the test, walked out of the room, and told us to "get out" of her room. I called the corporate office to report her. The good news is that Vanity (tech in room #1) was 100% professional, caring, and compassionate. She heard the tech flipping out and offered to do the blood work, took my mom into her room, and apologized—shame on Quest for allowing their employees to treat patients this way. We'll go to the Quest on Western Blvd., where professionals work. Vanity should transfer to that office so the other girls don't drag her down.

My Phlebotomist was very knowledgable and courteous. She did an excellent job I didn't feel a thing.

My online appointment was for 12:15 pm, I arrived at 11:45, checked in and then I waited, and waited & waited. I was seen at 12:50 p.m.

Everything is super easy from booking a time to waiting (less than 5min) to drawing the blood and getting the results in less than 24 hours.

I have had the two worst experiences here.
First I went for blood work myself had to wait for over an hour, I didnt have an appointment I understood that they will be taking priority of appointments over walkings but the room was empty at one point. Staff was incredible rude. I figured they were having a bad day of something like that. The following week I decided to give them a second chance and bring my 1 year old for blood work made sure I made an appointment I was seen 40 mins after my appointment. Again staff was rude and even correcting my English. Please save your time and go to another lab.
These labs have gone down hill.

This is my “go-to” Quest location because of convenience, however, there are definitely opportunities here:
PROS: Clean facility, mostly friendly staff, conveniently located, easy to schedule an appointment online.
CONS: Even with an appointment, you will wait, sometimes up to an hour. Also, I had an experience here where I needed a drug screen and it leaked in transit due to inadequate sealing, so I had to come back and do it all over again. I get it, mistakes happen, but it makes me question quality practices.

I had a great experience. I forgot the phlebotomists name but she had on cute air maxes with smiley faces on them and was the sweetest. Made the whole process amazing!! Would come back and recommend this place to others for sure.

Rosa, Jen, and Vanity are so friendly and welcoming. I have to come to quest for testing almost weekly and they make having to come in so much better. I actually look forward to seeing them and getting treated by them. They are patient and remember my name- it majes an unpleasant chore feel like youre meeting up with friends. I have been to other locations and many urgent care sites for my weekly testing and didnt like any of them and kept looking and found the new London turnpike location and even from the start they were so friendly and quick- got me in and out so fast i couldnt believe it bc that had not been my experience other places. After my first visit i was hooked and have been going there 1x week for almost 3 years now and wont go anywhere else- even though there is a closer location i drive extra for their service. They are star employees and run that place like pros. I actually look forward to seeing them every week! By far best quest location!
