Great location and friendly staff, and One employee that has exceeded expectations and that should be training all new employees is the young man named "Josh" - More than once, Josh has been the only person that has helped us cut some wood. Even though, majority of employees should be trained on the wood cutting machine - "Josh" is the only that responds to call for assistance by us and several other customers. And our one suggestion is that they need an easier way for customers to locate help/ or call from the aisles when needing help. And employees need to be evaluated on how often they respond and satisfactorily help customers in need.

Buy goods and services elsewhere. I have had two horrible experiences with home depot on two different projects. They recently damaged a wire on my property and left it splayed and live on my driveway. They caused a dangerous situation and refused to rectify or take responsibility. The second incident happened when the delivery driver refused to install an appliance (installation had been paid for) because "he forgot his tools" I was forced to reschedule, losing another day of work. The delivery person returned on the rescheduled date and refused to install once again because "he forgot his tools" Unacceptable Home

Purchased a ryobi brushless wireless stick vac it was ordered online but shipped from the store when I received the item there was pet and human hair in the brushes as well as missing components. Your store completely dropped the ball with this one. It's common sense to check returned items for use before putting them back on the sales floor, I will do business with your competitor instead.

Come here from time to time. This store is HUGE. Prices are more than Nh... but so is everything so I don't really complain. Nothing *crazy* to state.... It's Home Depot not a nightclub but the plants always seem healthy. Last time I was here there was a confrontation between the police and an Asian gentlemen. I watched for awhile and nothing spectacular came of it. Kinda would say that's the *vibe* for this store. One other time this lady who worked here was rude... I was here right at opening and went to walk in and boy she shut those doors quick. Idk why they were unlocked but I didn't unlock them and thus was a little taken again. Figured that was just a once off. For all of these reasons, 4/5 ... maybe 85/100 if this was a test. We could call it a "B"

Awful, just plain awful. Put a reservation at the beginning of the week to rent a van today to move out. They send me 45 mins before pick up via text: "Uh oh. An item you reserved isn't available at the GLASTONBURY - 6220 store. We're sorry but we had to cancel your rental reservation #3115279 scheduled for pickup by 10:00 am 08/27 and we're returning your deposit. Go to # to reserve your item when it's available again. Pro Tip: Be sure to check other locations for availability. Reply 13312 to opt out." Horrible just horrible.... Been a lifelong Home Depot customer but 45 mins before we are about to leave to pick up the van and it gets cancelled is way too much. Horrible, I'd give 0 stars if I could

This Home Depot has been great up until the past few months. The employees have always been nice but the inventory has major issues. We purchased a brand new Ryobi edger and when we got it home, it was clearly used. We were really disappointed since we had to drive back to get an exchange. The employee who took care of us was amazing and didn't give us any issues - he was genuinely concerned. The only odd thing was how he blatantly blamed the younger, newer coworkers at the store. I just sorta laughed it off and asked if I could open the new box since I didnt want to take any chance of that being a "new" yet used item. Luckily it was fine but ALWAYS check your items from this place. Will start going somewhere else for tools and larger purchases most likely.

I got a good price on a washing machine. They should have said they can't guarantee I will ever recieve it. I got my fourth robocall the day before date promised to inform me not going to happen. I did call today but the excuses just didn't add up then she said you can call us a few days before your next delivery to find out if its going to arrive....that is suppose to be help or some kind of time frame.

This store has an average of 2 1/2 stars on Yelp. I think that's being kind. I gave it one but if I could give it zero, I would. Now there are some delightful employees but my main issue is a.) it's always dirty and in a state of disarray. B) Good luck getting a lumber cart. They're all reserved with go backs and buy online orders so if you're looking for lumber (like I frequently am) you're screwed. c) leadership in this store is pitiful. They don't care about the customer based on interactions I've had with them as well as see a & c above. They like to blame covid and people not willing to work but there's no pride in this store. Manchester and Windham are run far superior. If you can, stay away from this schlock run business.

My son and his wife bought a set of kitchen appliances from this store. The refrigerator arrived with a dent.It wasn't noticed til after the delivery people left. My son has spent a large part of the last 6 days arguing with Home Depot flunkies and Samsung " Customer Service Reps" whose main objective is to wear them down to keeping a product they don't want .It's apparently a Secret Society since he wasn't allowed to speak with anyone above flunky level .Don't buy from Home Depot.

"Bury me out on the prairie Where the buffalo used to roam Where the Canada geese once filled the sky And then I won't be far from Home" (Neil Young) Maybe the nicest Home Depot I've ever seen. They excelled in customer service and inventory. I needed a small section of shelving to replace the warped and bowed pressboard shelf that came with our house. I measured up what we needed, found a suitable replacement (Medium Density Fiberboard) and asked one of their sales associates to cut it to size for me, No problem -zip, zip, zip and it was done. As part of our remodeling initiative we needed a new medicine cabinet, shower light, and some high powered light bulbs for the living room lamps. We were very impressed by the quantity and selection they had on the shelves and we ended up getting everything we wanted. Home Depots are not all alike, We've previously visited their locations in West Hartford, Bloomfield, Torrington, and Southington. And I will look you right in the eye and tell you the Glastonbury store was the very best Home Depot we've ever seen.

I've been going to Home Depot in Glastonbury for quite some time. I even worked there before the pandemic started, up until October. So now I can safely review Home Depot without it being a conflict of interest. I'm not going to comment on why I left there, however, after you read my review you may be able to figure it out. This most recent visit was to purchase paint, primer, and all of the necessities to paint my walls. I was happy to see a friendly, familiar face at the paint counter. She was very knowledgeable about paint, what I would need and the tools to get the job done. Here's the problem with my most recent visit and multiple visits before that. Staff standing around, self check out mobbed and lines of people, and no registers open. I do love Home Depot, and I will continue to go there, however they really need to step their customer service game up and figure out how to keep the customers from getting frustrated. Waiting around to pay for my items took almost longer than getting all of my paint supplies.

I love this location, it's definitely one of the nicest around. My friend used to work at this one in high school so I admit I'm a bit biased, but as an adult, I purposely choose this location whenever I need flowers or something for a project. This past weekend I went to stock up on fall florals and bought a ton of mums. Their selection is always good and I love where their garden center is located in relation to the rest of the store. Fun Fact: The town of Glastonbury specifically asked for this location to brick cause they're #boujee. It's the only Home Depot around that's brick!!

Renting a van tomorrow. Booked online. Home Depot has my rental number but can't help me change the time by the app or in person. Apparently new to the team. Probably should have held off from launch online rentals if training levels lacked sooooooo much

Really friendly staff. I was in a rush one day, looking for a respirator for pesticide straying. I forgot my glasses and was having trouble finding the item. I came up Rebecca and asked if she could help me find the item, along with safety glasses. Rebecca was ultra helpful and friendly. Definitely will be back to this location.

Was told I couldn't use my Military discount without a manager's approval and there just so happen to be no managers on duty. So I was unable to use my discount which would of saved me over $70. Sad.
