Business owners, please take your banking somewhere else. The fees and customer service are terrible. There are plenty of other options that can help you grow your business!

I went into this branch with Documents that a manager named Brenda said I needed to establish a new executor bank account. When I walked in Brenda was helping someone but then finished .I was the only person waiting in the lobby area. There was literally no one else in the branch. I heard Brenda speak to one of the tellers ,telling her that she would not help me. The teller then came up to me and told me that Brenda had scheduled meetings all afternoon . There was no one else at this branch . I had to leave and drove to the Hebron Ave branch. They assisted me and it took less than 10 minutes. I can't believe how rude Brenda was. This is how you lose customers.

I was told I had to bring my sons passport and ssn to open a joint account. He is only 15years old. I thought that strange because he is a minor. I brought the documents and opened the account. While opening the account the teller asked which country we were from. I told her our country of birth but that we are American citizens. My son had his US passport from which they took info. They called me two days later and told me I have to give them a copy of my sons passport and ssn to keep on files because he was born outside of the country. I told them he is an American citizen as his passport proved. The manager of the Glastonbury branch told me that I can either comply or he will close the account and send me a check. I went in and closed the account. That very afternoon I opened an account with my minor child at another back. When I produced his passport they said it is not needed. Peoples bank was just racially profiling us because we are black.
