Horrible customer service!! I was not allowed to deposit a check, that my husband and I had countersigned, into my bank account because it didn't have HIS name in the bank account. My husband was with me, had ID, and agreed that he had just signed his name to approve to deposit. I asked if they needed him to sign that the check was made payable to me? "We don't accept that any more "! What was only way they could accept the deposit from the State of MA for a tax refund? They said the ONLY way they could accept the deposit was to OPEN ANOTHER bank account in BOTH names to accept the check! That took 1 hour! I will be withdrawing all of my funds from this bank as soon as I am ready to waste another hour out of my and my husband's day to close it. Horrible!!

Reviews are spot on, however, the "Donkey" Manager - as one reviewer labels him - needs a break. He's just doing his job and pushing digitial platforms and apps per Corporate directives. The anger and frustration should be directed at the decision makers who put these policies in place and launch these apps/platforms with very little training for the embattled, low paid employees who are stressed at the counters with skeleton crews. Ever try to use "check deposit" app which is aggressively pushed on customers as soon as they walk in the door? One needs the patience of the Pope to execute a successful transaction after roughly ten error messages (move to better light, move in with camera, move out with camera, resolution not sharp enough ... Ditto for the 1990 era auto teller machines. I have been swearing for 8 years everytime I have to use the machines. It's a 5-8minute process and many times the machine eats $100 bills which necessitate a month-long process on the back end to finally confirm that the machine did, in fact, eat your $100 bill. I just noticed BofA finally stepped up to 2018 and installed news machines as of two weeks ago. The real problem here is that the banking and financial institutions have little to no interest in customer satisfaction - only profits. They are big on apologies when they get caught (as they often do) with their hands in the cookie jar and have no incentive to adjust their poor policies and procedures. If you were able to steal $1000 dollars and when caught in the act only get a slap on the wrist and have to pay back $10 dollars as punishment ... would you do it again? Anybody renters out there? It's likely that your rent payments are going to an LLC vs. a mom and pop owner. The LLC is formed and backed by the same bankers and high dollar investors who gladly took us by the hand and walked us into the mortgage crisis. They simply switched gears and moved on to new businesses ... buying back all the distressed properties and raising rents at rapid rates. But no fear, the banks are looking out for you - especially those of you who had your credit dinged in the financial downturn or unfortunately lost a house due to unemployment or market devaluations. BofA, Wells, Chase etc has your back. Just give em a ring and they will gladly extend you credit at 24.95%. The only people I know that get those kinds of returns are drug dealers. But this is by design folks and it's legal. Thank your local congressmen and again remember, the banks have your back.
