Do not work with the flooring installation team. We paid $35 for a measurement on Jan 10th. We went into the store at least 6 times. Each time they told us we needed to do something else before they could finish the quote. The sticking point is they wanted $75 for their installer to come and inspect the job. But they would never schedule the installer. We finally went out of our way to get the installer out to our property and Home Depot would still not complete the quote. They want the customer to pay for the materials and then Jack up the price after the work has started. Extremely unethical.

HORRIBLE DELIVERY SERVICE! We ordered a washer that was going to be delivered on a Thursday. My husband works walking distance from our home and they came and went in 5 min when there should’ve been a phone call 45 min in advance as well as 15 min waiting time. My husband had to leave work to drive there and talk to a higher up which explained they used 3rd party services for delivery which regardless is STILL THEIR RESPONSIBILITY and they knew they didn’t wait or call at proper times. On Thursday, they then said we had to wait until Monday which we negotiated to Saturday with a non delivering fee, all is well and we felt that was fair. Got called again Friday to our delivery now being pushed until Tuesday. That means we will have gone TWO weeks without clothes being washed. We will never work with Home Depot again! Horrible service, not customer friendly. We’re canceling our order and going to Lowe’s.

I have had the worst experience possible with this location. A few years ago I bought a brand new Cub Cadet snow blower, during the first use, both wheels fell off the machine. I called, lifted the thing into the back of my truck myself, and they repaired it as apparently Cub Cadet had some sort of issue with the keyways that were manufactured. We didn't have snow for a couple of years so it didn't get used, and with the first snow of this year, both wheels fell off yet again. When I called the store they said "bring it to Kesheta Power Equipment in South Windsor and maybe Cub Cadet will cover it." $1,800 for a snow blower that doesn't have wheels and the worst customer service in the world, avoid both the brand and the Glastonbury CT Home Depot like the plague.

Only self-checkout? I don’t work here. All of the lumber I needed was warped. No straight and true boards to be found.

2023 - Teri rocked it worh our 2nd wrong online order and spent over an hour fixing it on the phone fixing it and got us a discount because it's the wnd time. People like Teri make coming here fun and great. The whole customer service desk was laughing with us 2020Pretty great only reason 4 star is because they accused my husband of stealing and brought him in back room to search him..he was wearing same color t shirt as the guy who was stealing and they caught him later!!

Great location and friendly staff, and One employee that has exceeded expectations and that should be training all new employees is the young man named "Josh" - More than once, Josh has been the only person that has helped us cut some wood. Even though, majority of employees should be trained on the wood cutting machine - "Josh" is the only that responds to call for assistance by us and several other customers. And our one suggestion is that they need an easier way for customers to locate help/ or call from the aisles when needing help. And employees need to be evaluated on how often they respond and satisfactorily help customers in need.

Buy goods and services elsewhere.I have had two horrible experiences with home depot on two different projects. They recently damaged a wire on my property and left it splayed and live on my driveway. They caused a dangerous situation and refused to rectify or take responsibility. The second incident happened when the delivery driver refused to install an appliance (installation had been paid for) because "he forgot his tools" I was forced to reschedule, losing another day of work. The delivery person returned on the rescheduled date and refused to install once again because "he forgot his tools"Unacceptable Home Depot

I'm doing a kitchen remodel and placed an order for all my materials in person at the Pro Desk. Got it delivered and found out my cabinet order was cancelled by the vendor because I didn't meet the minimum number of units. It would have been nice if someone had let me know there was a minimum, but no biggie, I re-ordered them and was told they'd come in in two weeks. I had to pay a second delivery fee, which didn't quite seem fair, but fine. Two weeks later on a Tuesday, the cabinets are due in, so I call Home Depot to ensure my delivery was on track for that week. Note: I wouldn't normally call, but the order was under my contractor's account, and despite copious notes to contact ME about delivery, I didn't trust that would happen, and rightly so. I was told the cabinets hadn't even shipped yet but that they would definitely be in that week, so I politely waited, and when they inevitably didn't arrive, I called back on Monday. I was then told that the cabinets had arrived to the store the Monday before (that is, the day BEFORE I was told they hadn't even shipped) and that the earliest they could deliver was Thursday. Any business that values their customers might have said "Geez, I'm sorry for all these screw-ups. We'll get this out to you today and waive the delivery fee." But not Home Depot. My husband and I were due out of town on Thursday, but he stayed home an extra night to receive these damn cabinets. And wouldn't you know, Thursday 7:30 PM rolls around and I call to find out they cancelled all deliveries for that day because it was inventory day. GAHHHHH! Pull yourself together, Glastonbury Home Depot, you are a mess!

2 stars because of the intense pressure the staff are under. I ordered online two days (3 text & email notices that it’s ready and waiting) ago for the convenience of not waiting — here I 23 minutes later still waiting.

Explain to me why I am paying more for everything I buy there and then I get the luxury of having to check myself out. There is NEVER anyone working a normal register. I have gone to Lowes more often even though it's further away and at least one register has an associate.
