They close at 5 not 7. Update it before people drive a half hour to come to your store

Kinda sucks when you have expectations of kindness walking into goodwill knowing that people shop here because they don’t have much money and they don’t have many items / clothes. With that being said I just left goodwill and I saw this hoodie for a school that my son goes took it was marked 5.99 and I asked the man at the register if he could possibly sell it to me for $5 he said no right away and then I asked if they had bags because I was on foot and he said yeah but they’re a dollar. I thought that was honestly in bad taste that you have to pay a dollar for a bag at GOODWILL. If you ask me, it’s not much good will there.. kinda sad..

Great selection for women, but men and kids sections can be sparse at times.

Tried doing community service here the district manager is a joke and a liar. Refused to provide a 2 sentence letter completely screwed me on 100 hours.

I come here from time to time. Usually find some cool things. Smells a little musty inside but hey.. it's goodwill... not a delicious eatery and so I leave it at 5 stars. Staff is nice and there are usually a fair number of people.. but the store is pretty spacious. Entrance from the street is a little confusion (from the side by the pizza restaurant) ... but parking is plentiful!

I have been in this store a couple of times. First time I had been in there awhile and thought maybe I was mistaken, second time I realized what was happening. The workers hold items in back for their friends or people who are resellers , do they get paid off for doing it ? Split the profits ? Tad smack of dishonesty makes one not want to donate to Goodwill . Maybe The Journal Inquirer would be interested in a story as it seems Western /Northern Ct Ken in customer relations does not seem to care. pretty disgusting behavior!

They have a surprisingly small selection of everything compared to the Norwich and Groton sites. However it's very clean and bright in here. Great customer service!

I found a top that I liked but it was not tagged. I asked the man behind the counter how much it was. He told me $8. When I went to purchase the item from another male cashier, he told me it was $10. When I questioned it, he said it was a boutique item and those started at $10. I purchased the item but I don't forsee myself returning to this location. They are responsible for tagging items appropriately and seem to just make up whatever they price they want at the point of sale. Additionally, while a woman cashier was asking every customer for their phone number, the cashier I dealt with did not ask me.

This Goodwill doesn’t have very much and the guy taking donations on the side of the building must hate his life or hate his job because he’s so grumpy . Maybe he needs a hug .

Many great things today however checking out was not a pleasant experience. I purchased well over $100 worth of items and the checkout woman was not nice and she was being extremely bossy and fresh to me. Perhaps a bit more training in customer service would help. GG

Perhaps you could ask the man who accepts donations on Sunday morning to do a better job of disguising his sheer hatred of the people dropping off neatly-bagged items?

Staff are really great/nice here but selling donated infant formula for $20 is downright criminal. Management needs to take a long look in the mirror and think about how messed up that is.

They have lost their mind! Use to get a bargain, not so much anymore. Follow the $$$.They know folks are in need.
