Today, I learned that they don't do returns or an exchange on holiday gifts. I have the receipt. Not a good policy in my opinion. My gift is a winter, not Christmas item. Totally something that could be resold. I won't be shopping there in the future.

While we only lived in Glastonbury for 3 years, when I discovered Emmy Lou’s this store became my go to place for gifts, both for me and for others. Wish I had a comparable place now!Miss visiting and buying!

Emmy Lous in Glastonbury is one of the most quaint gift shops that my wife and I had ever been to. It has several gifts that your recipients will love.As you go from room to room you find something else that you just have to pick up for yourself. It was our first visit looking for a fall wreath for our front door and we were pleasantly surprised at the selection. If we didn’t find exactly what we were looking for Emmy Lou makes items to order.We will be going back soon for several XMAS items. If your looking for quality items at a fair price you need to stop by and meet Emmy Lou. One of the sweetest ladies you’ll ever meet. We enjoyed our visit and her personal touch. Being in business for 36 yrs you know she is doing something right!

While shopping with a friend she commented on a scarf. I went back later that day to purchase it but found them collecting their signs and closing for the day. I asked if they were closed (thinking I might have a window) and they said yes - but could they help? i explained I was looking for a scarf I had seen earlier - "Oh come on in - we can help with that". I love walking into Emmy Lou's. They have wonderful seasonal displays and merchandise. The staff is always friendly and take a few minutes to chat with customers. I enjoy the Glastonbury themed merchandise! Just walking or driving past Emmy Lou's, the front is always nicely decorated and inspires one to decorate too. Thanks Emmy Lou!
