If I could give a - Star, I would. I personally no longer will do business with CVS. Why? Oh there are so many reasons! Let's start with the interaction from the pharmacist: CHERIE PIREAUX ~ Textbook definition of rude and unprofessional. We get it, there is a shortage of medications and sometimes they are not in stock. My son tried getting his medication and she said there is nothing in stock ~ even though the CVS app. stated his script was ready for pickup ~ it wasn't. She then proceeded to tell him she has 0 in the store. Upon some research and calling other CVS pharmacies my son was told they have 12 tablets in stock. I called and she twisted the entire conversation making herself out to be a victim ~ her exact words: " I don't know what game you are playing but I am being pressured, I feel manipulated" Why? Because my son took time to call another CVS for some answers? And, that she was basically being called out on lies that she told.. It is customarily, at the pharmacist discretion, to partially fill a script and void the remaining and have the physician send another script. Inconvenient? Sure, but if the patient is willing to make that effort ~ let them. Meet them 1/2 way ~ not CHERIE PIREAUX ~ no. Her solution? and I am quoting her " I will fill the script of 12 but I am putting notes on his account and he ( my son ) is NO LONGER able to get his scripts here ~ or any CVS" Give her a standing Ovation! Another CVS customer leaving and going to Walmart pharmacy. The entire staff is rude, condescending, belligerent and, for a lack of a better term ~ Ignorant. Take your business elsewhere ~ CVS does not deserve your business.

This location used to be great. Things used to be stocked. You could stop here and get bread, milk etc when you picked up your meds. Now most everything is out of stock. It never gets replenished and many times is past expiration. I can’t speak for the pharmacy as it’s been years since I’ve needed it. This review is in reference to the store itself.

One of the nastiest, rudest pharmacy locations I have ever witnessed and encountered. The pharmacy techs will place you on hold and not even acknowledge they are placing you on hold. When ask to speak to a supervisor they refuse to escalate the issue. I have been waiting 6 days for a problem that could of been resolved and they’re refusing to address the problem and fix it. They play the blame game and not accept their own responsibility. They’ll gladly bill your insurance for a prescription you can’t use and refuse to take it back and leave you stuck without options. I would not recommend this location to anyone. Especially if you have sensitivity and allergies to certain medications like I do. This location would put the customer at jeopardy.

If your store hours are posted and say open until 11:00 pm. Why are you closed before then?

I’m here at 10:28pm. The store hours posted are until 11pm. I have a flight tomorrow and needed something last minute only to show up to the store and find they closed early.

Too crowded, too shady. Everything in here on the shelf is behind protective case. Really makes me wonder about the clientele.

Rudest pharmacy techs I have ever encountered, and I have had quite a few experiences with them. One younger guy is very nice and professional, but that's where it ends. Even today, the girl at the the drive thru just opens the drawer to send me my prescription and debit card, and says nothing. I said, "Thank you", and she still says nothing. Miserable.

Etiqueta the Pharmacist and Angela drive thru pharmacy tech are incompetent, condescending, disrespectful, rude, and most unprofessional people that I’ve ever interact with at 16 Main Street, East Hartford, CT. If you can’t even communicate to a customer for basic interactions and be nasty for no reason then maybe you shouldn’t be in your current job. You are the reason why there are so many bad reviews and customers are avoiding this location at all cost.

Until recently we haven't compared prices between different pharmacies. Recently we have found that CVS is consistently much higher than our Costco pharmacy for the same exact drugs. Recently we bought one drug and the copay was $50 at CVS. One week later we got another prescription from the same doctor for the same drug. This time we used Costco. The copay was $12. I asked the pharmacist at CVs why there was such a difference. He had absolutely no response.

Always count on the pharmacy to mess something up. It’s the complete opposite of convenience…whichever term you choose to use.
