Horrible customer service!! I was not allowed to deposit a check, that my husband and I had countersigned, into my bank account because it didn't have HIS name in the bank account. My husband was with me, had ID, and agreed that he had just signed his name to approve to deposit. I asked if they needed him to sign that the check was made payable to me? "We don't accept that any more "!What was only way they could accept the deposit from the State of MA for a tax refund? They said the ONLY way they could accept the deposit was to OPEN ANOTHER bank account in BOTH names to accept the check! That took 1 hour! I will be withdrawing all of my funds from this bank as soon as I am ready to waste another hour out of my and my husband's day to close it. Horrible!!

I am a small business owner. Bank manager Karen is very unprofessional and rude and I had very bad experience. Money not credited in my business account on time. Manager keeps business counter open at her discretion when asked she told its her wish to keep the business counter open or not . She wants customers to go to other branch. Whoever goes to this branch please ensure your money gets credited in your account.

Tried to get a new card, the employee literally told me to call corporate. So I can’t go to my bank and get a new card, yeah terrible service.Also, their atm machine took my card and never gave it back smh

07JAN22- I visited this location for the first time. My local Bank of America was closed?. I found this place to have great management and flow ?. The facility was very clean and the cashiers and staff were fast, friendly, and knowledgeable.Bravo Zulo.Thanks again.??

The people are the stars of this location. I have had great interactions with many of the staff going out of their way to assist my wife and I with financial transactions. I have seen some examples of the situations mentioned by others: concern over communications regarding the branches temporary closure, disappointment at the elimination of the drive through, had some trouble with a contractor cashing a large check from me, and had what felt like unnecessary delays at times for certain transactions. That being said, I have also had multiple instances of outstanding customer service by different individuals so while all may not be perfect here, as long as the people remain as they are, I'm happy.

This is the worst bank who is trying to scam my family out of $2500. I have been given the runaround. No on answers the phone and I am contacting the CT Banking Commission to resolve this issue.

Any idea why the Glastonbury location has been closed? People have been going to the bank and it has been closed the past few days. No signs and no explanation.

It looks like most people have written reviews to complain after they had a single bad situation\experience that they did not like. I have banked with the branch for 5 years and have always had good customer service. I took our a mortgage couple of years ago and refinanced this year, every experience has been positive. They recently notarized some my documents for free which is a nice convenience, and the ATM always works. I have been a BOFA customer for 15 years and cant say i have had a particular bad experience at any point. Hopefully i dint jinx myself. ;-)

Stay away from this branch..I was targeted as soon as i walked through those doors because of my ethnicity not only was i racially profiled but was also denied service after asking for branch manager. If you are of color my advice is to go somewhere else.

This branch is CLOSED as of April 28, 2021 without warnings or any information and no access to the safe deposit box. Terrible.

People usually seem to be very nice here. Almost all. But their systems & tools are so archaic & dated. One star feels too generous with the Quality of systems & apps they have.

The staff seem perfectly pleasant, but this is the only Bank of America location I have ever gone to that not only makes a bureaucratic process out any transactions, but will not cash my checks despite them being through Bank of America. Don't waste your time here unless you are a customer.

My experience unlike many of the complaints is fast service, and super nice and helpful empoyees. average wait time is 2-5 min. maybe 5-10 if its super busy. No one waits 25min, and yes the drive through has been closed for years. But they have 3 ATM's capable of taking cash and check deposits, if its a super complicated, large amount or multi transaction service that's needed, its better to go inside anyway. For anyone not physically capable of entering the building or mask wearing refusal they will come outside, or to your vehicle to still service you. 8$ fees I can understand being upset, but its free if you have an account and then why not use your own bank for free instead of getting upset? I think the vocal minority entered the review section that's all.
