Larry was very kind after my father passed away. Living out of state, it was difficult for me to handle all of the antiques and such. Larry took car of everything, from packing up the apartment to selling the items. It was a huge help and he was very professional. I highly recommend dealing with this business.

I have engaged Larry Shapiro on several occasions over many years for the purpose of appraising and liquidating estates as it relates to my law office's probate practice. It is paramount that I use someone who is trustworthy, knowledgeable and responsive. Larry is recognized in the industry as a man who has all those character traits and more. I don't hesitate to recommend his name when the need arises. I can also speak for my clients and fellow lawyers in Connecticut who have reported their overall satisfaction with his professionalism.

I found Larry to be not only knowledgable, but honest in his assessment of the silver tea set I brought to him. His analysis was thorough and I appreciated the background information as well as the advice for how to best liquidate it.

You get what you paid for, he was the cheapest ($100 for 1 piece of art) one I found in the Hartford area. When he hand wrote my receipt on a piece of scrap paper I know I was in trouble. He said it would take 2 or 3 days....10 days later I had to call an demand my appraisal, finally received it after 2 weeks.Stay away....would not recommend this appraiser!
