There is no shortage of gas and the prices are being artificially inflated. Gasoline continues to be exported from this country where it can be sold for much more money per gallon than in the US.

This is a Mobil gasoline filling station and convenience store with very good/cheap prices on their gasoline (today the regular unleaded gasoline was $2.599 cash per gallon). I have seen other Mobil gasoline stations in the state (Connecticut) that are currently 20 - 30 cents per gallon higher over the last couple of days. The place is somewhat small, but clean and very presentable. It is conveniently located on busy route 32.I paid at the pump and the receipt printed as it should, which is nice...
