Love the pool! Love the fact that’s always open and available unlike La Fitness Newington! Way to go guys! Other places can do it why Newington Can’t

Esporta near the Westfarms mall :I really enjoy the floor and equipment, but the sauna and jacuzzi are constantly out of service for maintenance. Very frustrating if that’s one of the main reasons to choose this particular location. I’d hope they could get that under control. ??

Staff lacks customer service skills and the 3 day trial is a scam to enroll you into a membership which you have to cancel at the end of the 3 days.

The gym is kept clean and people respect each other; staff is on site to answer questions.

2/21/24 around 7 PM. Esporta West Hartford. It's 2024 and we still have weird men (boys?) yelling regularly, louder than a woman in labor, while dropping weights and slamming them. Disturbing everyone around, and then gathering around each other and yelling with glee. It's as if they are in an improv class that aims to depict how an orangutang may work out, if he did.Attempt 1: I alert the staff about the cacophony of testosterone emanating from the corner, but it's like trying to reason with a cheap protein shake – nothing changes.Attempt 2: I seek out another staff member, reminding them of my earlier plea for tranquility, but it's as effective as trying to squat a barbell made of marshmallows – futile.Attempt 3: As I attempt to gracefully exit, I'm ambushed by the staff, who seem more confused than a weightlifter trying to do multivariate calculus. They insist I can't cancel online and must embark on a quest to terminate my membership in person. They invite me to cancel. I accept. They decide they are failing at figuring this out too. Waste of time.At this point, I'm ready to throw in the towel. They might be struggling to figure out how to cancel my membership (they insisted I do it there on the spot by the way, since they do not allow you do it online - typical predatory practices of chain gyms). I am tired of watching failure after failure so I decide it's just easier to cancel my credit card then watch them struggle and fail repeatedly.Lesson learned: Next time, I'll stick to a local gym where the policies are as friendly as the neighborhood barista and the only chaos comes from the occasional yoga class trying to find inner peace amidst the clang of dumbbells. My only regret is I wish I posted a video. Because the staff told me that it is "just grunting" and "thats how that exercise is done". It would be hilarious if it wasn't so pathetic.Update: not kidding one of the machines looked like this today. WHAT even is that…gross.

This review is only about the pool. We just started swim classes there for our daughter so don’t actually belong to the gym, but the pool area is SO moist. The ceiling was dripping down and hitting us and the paint is bubbling up. The floors are so damp and not from splashing pool water. I’m genuinely concerned about it being an unhealthy area for my baby to be.

I’m extremely upset with a manager who answered me tonight. There was me and my husband, and my 9-year-old nephew... and he didn’t let us in because of my nephew’s age. And I showed him that there were other children of the same age in the gym, and he simply gonorrhoeated us treating us like garbage ...

This place is super nice, I recently came home and was trying to find a gym. Got a bunch of free passes to different places and Esporta was one of them. I have to say that the staff was extremely friendly and professional, it was extremely clean, and the equipment is pretty new. It definitely is worth a lot more than they are offering for pricing. The place is a gold mine for the best pricing around. There’s always a piece of equipment available and the pool is super clean. Not sure why the negative reviews about the pool but couldn’t be further from the truth honestly. Go check it out for yourself!!!

Literally a breeding ground for bacteria and viruses. This is the most disgusting gym I've ever seen. On top of being overly filled with people, there's no sanitation stations throughout so everything is just constantly covered in people's bodily fluids and the pool water mind as well be filled up with it.Sometimes it's a good place to meet friends but a lot of creepo dudes and unsocialized city people hit on girls and younger dudes.I don't know why anyone would work out here it's GROSS.
