I went in with a prescription for glasses. The woman asking for insurance information could not be any ruder, I explained that I had called ahead and was qualified for glasses and she did not believe me. I had to call my insurance in front of her and put them on speaker phone.Of course I was qualified. She said she only goes by what is on the internet and that the insurance should change the internet. Long story short she should not be dealing with customers. NO professionalism at all. Do not recommend.

I've used Dr. Roffer for years! I originally went to him when the lenses I had gotten from 1-hour place were bothering me. My prescription was wrong - the lenses too strong! Dr. Roffer's exams are very thorough, his staff is helpful and pleasant, and the quality of their lenses is unsurpassed. They've always had a nice selection of the latest style frames. With my prescription, my glasses can get costly, but Dr. Roffer is worth it.

Great eye Doctor. Very helpful and won't change your perscription unless absolutely necessary. The office is friendly.

I have been going to Dr. Roffer since I was 16. I always enjoyed going there up until recently. The new receptionist is rude! Doesn't seem to want to move out of her chair to get the records when your next eye appointment is due. All she said was look for the card in the mail. After she finally did get our records she proceeded to tell me how my hisband missed an appointment last July. I tried to explain that he works an on call job and that was our mistake. I then tried to talk to Dr. Roffer himself and he became just as rude as her. Telling me I missed an appointment 2 years ago. But I showed up to my appointment last year. This office doesn't seem to need business and treat there customers with respect. I will be looking for another eye doctor today. So sad that they lose customers. Obvioulsy here customer service isn't first it's defending eachother. The customer isnt right here and they just seem like a bunch of grumoy old men now.

I'm an Eye Dr. Snob. I want to feel like Im walking into a spa when I go to the Eye Dr. I want the gorgeous frames I can't afford but look amazing on my face. etc.. Well in the SW they are a dime a dozen but out here they all kinda look shoddy. Last year I went to one in Blue Back Square which met my criteria. However, customer service was not something they cared about, not rude just indiffrent. You have to pay for parking, they dont validate WTF? and even with insurance they were ridiculously expensive. They fitted me for contacts with a stigmatism and I bought them. I mean who second guesses an eye dr unless it's for surgery.. Forward 10 months. I didnt want to go back to Blue Back because of the price. Lens Crafters doesn't take VSP. What?? So I decided to try this doctor, randomly. I called to make the appointment and HE (the dr) answered the phone. ok? Ive never had that happen, it kinda threw me off . Anyway I made the appointment. Yesterday was my appointment. I arrived early. It's in the Sports Authority Plaza and it's not glamorous but it was comfortable. They didnt have a ridiculous variety of frames but they had a very decent and affordable selection. The Dr. came out and he's an older man.. you just think "grandpa". Very polite and nice as was the receptionist..(take that. Blue Back!) Anyway it was my annual exam and I thought my sight was getting worse as ive been straining to se things close up and Im nearsighted. After he checks my glasses, contacts and eyes, he determines...the contacts and glasses I have been prescribed over the past few years have been too strong! In addition I don't have a freakin stygmatism (which costs about $20+ more a box in contacts) Are you kidding me?? After he explained and fitted me for a daily wear lens.. I walked out spending $120 (didnt use my insurance waiting to use them on new glasses)with a 45 day supply of lenses that are amazing.. clear and crisp, and I can't even feel them and they dont make my eyes tired!!!! FYI switching from Air optix to Coopervision is a world of difference!! If you want honesty, affordability, customer service and a great product. This is the Dr. It may not be the swankiest office but you can be 100% sure that you are being taken care of and not upsold into a higher prescription or a stygmatism you dont have.
