The plants/shrubs are truly great (5 stars)! However, some of the staff are downright rude (1 star at best). I do go here and will continue to do so, as the plants are beautiful and healthy (albeit pricey) - but I dread dealing with certain members of the staff (no annuals for me).

Sensational staff and stock. As a retail customer, staff are helpful and always teaching me something I don't know. Oliver's is well laid out and user friendly.

An extraordinary nursery, and one that appears to be highly curated. The conifers and dwarf hardwoods are spectacular, and their selection of alpines is broad across the seasons. It's a 100-mi round-trip for us and it is always worth it. There is only one Oliver's in the known universe.

There's so much variety of flowers, ornamentals and trees. I bought the perfect weeping cherry tree. The staff was very friendly, and assisted me with what I was looking for

While the selection is good and prices a bit high, the female gardeners seem to know their stuff. When I cornered the owner to do a large landscaping project and I mean a large project, to my face I got oh yes oh yes. I followed up for months and months and was ignored by Jed. Totally ignored. I went in numerous times and he avoided even responding to garden assistant. Rude behavior in a business that must rely on clients. I understand a company being busy but common courtesy should be a given. How about saying we are too busy not just ignore someone hoping they will ignore your arrogance and just wait til you are free. This poor client management style seems to trickle down to staff- except a few female gardeners. There are other garden centers who are friendly and willing to be kind and helpful. I will never engage them for a project- NEVER

This place is amazingly beautiful and the staff was very knowledgeable. It's so nice to go to nursery that's just as excited about gardening as I am !

I used them because I went to the nursery and it was so beautiful the trees that they have are so unique! Made me want to just have a space like there’s. They came and helped me design my yard. I am so in love with my garden now Jed helped me so much he’s a true artist. I have tried to use other companies in the neighborhood and no one has given me the ideas that he has. The staff at Oliver are very knowledgeable, from design work of our yard to finding the right mix of flowers, scrubs and trees. We are only starting our redesign but are thankful we found Jed and his team.Services: Yard designs

Problem with buying a tree at Oliver’s is that they don’t warrantee the tree if they don’t plant them. The company I do work for is out almost $2,000 for a specimen that didn’t take. Oliver’s doesn’t want to hear it. It’s a shame because we spent thousands previously, and were poised to buy thousands of dollars more on an ongoing basis. No denying the stock is great - but the prices are also high and on top of that, you are running a big risk even knowing how to plant properly. Trees fail for a variety of reasons…. It’s a bigger gamble buying at Oliver’s. Van Wilgen’s guarantees their products for 1year. Two years if you use their premium planting mix and root booster.

This is my Disney World. Oliver Nurseries has been doing work on our (and our predecessors’) property for almost 40 years. Wonderful, knowledgeable staff, and the most beautiful shrubs and trees. I’ve spent all of my disposable income here!Services: Walkway landscaping
