“Stopped in to get a flu shot and it was quick, easy and pain free. This is a very busy pharmacy but it was very quick to get in and out. My one gripe with this site is that parking can be quite a challenge. The employees were very nice and quick to assist.”

“This is a good Stop & Shop location. It's one of the largest Stop & Shops in the area, and is well stocked with a huge selection of items in every department. I have found several items here that aren't carried at other Stop & Shops, such as Snickerdoodle Entenmann's little Bites. The store is well lit and clean. The floral department is excellent! They've got a huge variety of very pretty flowers and plants, as well as some beautiful seasonal decorations. I always like how they display the flowers, it looks very nice. The bakery is also excellent! They've got a huge selection of baked goods. All of the baked goods looked fresh and tasty. The cupcakes in the cupcake case looked very pretty and delicious. We've bought Italian bread and banana bread here and both were fresh and delicious, for a good price. The produce is very good at this location. The berries, cabbage, watermelon, lettuce, and other vegetables and fruits all looked fresh and were well stocked. They have a really wide variety of produce here, since it is a larger store. The deli is good, clean with friendly staff. The prepared chicken was all hot and fresh and they were making more while we were there. The sandwiches looked fresh and tasty with a nice variety to choose from. This location has a hot wing bar, and the wings there looked hot, fresh, and delicious. They also have a salad bar, which was well stocked with a nice variety of fresh fruits and veggies. The fish here looked fresh and was well stocked with a large selection. The meats looked good for the most part, and were also well stocked with a wide variety. This location has a Starbucks just inside the right entrance. They also have a small cafe where you can sit down and eat something. There is a Stop & Shop gas station across the street, which is very convenient. The staff here were all friendly, happy, and helpful. We once needed help finding something, and the young lady working in that section quickly directed us to where it was. I have seen the store manager walking around once or twice, which is good to see. Unfortunately, I have found expired items on the shelves here, make sure you check the dates. Also, the store is showing its age and could be better maintained in a few areas; The floor in the freezer aisle is very cracked, worn, scuffed, and needs to be redone, and some of the other floors are a bit worn and scuffed in other sections. The dairy shelves could also be cleaner as they look a bit messy/dirty in several sections. Most of the store is pretty clean, but it could be a bit better maintained, it's not quite as clean as it used to be. Overall, this is a great Stop & Shop. It's huge, has a wide variety of fresh foods, friendly staff, and carries pretty much anything you'd need. I always enjoy shopping at this location, the large size makes the shoping experience pleasant, even when it's crowded. This Stop & Shop does a good job serving this area. 4 stars for the Villa Ave Fairfield Stop & Shop.”
