Thank you Ernie for replacing my grandfathers broken metal stretch watch band with a nice leather watch band. My mother loved the look of the new strap. I highly recommend JewelRestore. Ernie is so friendly and accommodating. He fixed my necklace beautifully (I can’t even find where the break was) and in a timely manner. Go to shop for repairs and they have a lovely selection of jewelry.

Came in for a simple batter switch for a G-Shock watch. Owner/staff was very polite, took the watch and had it done quickly. Maybe waited 5 - 10 minutes all together. They also have a great selection of jewelry and rings too! Would definitely recommend this local business.

If I could leave less than one star, I would. Went in to ask about tightening a prong on my engagement ringI have a Galaxy Diamond aka Salt and Pepper Diamond ring- not your average Fairfield County white diamond. The man at the counter asked what it was and when I told him, his response was “from the atmosphere?” I found that insulting but I just needed the prong tightened, so I let it go. He checked it out with a tool to test hardness (I assume) and said, “this is not a diamond, its Moissanite.” “This is too soft, if you breathe on it, it will crack.” He proceeded to tell me that he could not be liable to work on the ring. Now, this I respect- thats fine. If you are afraid you will break the ring, I’d rather you decline to work on it.However, to condescend and insult my ring, that is not what I was looking for. Not everyone has a fancy white diamond, Sir. Never going back again…

I have a Tissot ball clock with a dead battery. I tried getting the battery replaced at multiple watch, clock and jewelry stores over the years and no one was able to figure out how to open it up to change the battery. I even mailed it to Tissot in Switzerland, as they claimed they might be able to help, and they sent it back to me, unable to fix it themselves. So, it sat on my shelf for a few more years until I tried one last time by taking it here, and lo and behold, JewelRestore was able to fix it. I was shocked and overjoyed. Would definitely recommend this place and wish I had discovered it years ago.

Earnie's work is exquisite! There is no better jeweler in Fairfield and I have been to all. He is meticulous and very knowledgeable. He repaired my antique ring, which was a very difficult job and now my ring looks better than before. The dude is rude. Needs to take a course is customer relations. Not interested in purchasing anything here after his condescending attitude. He has an overall bland inventory anyway. Had he been more customer-friendly, he might have learned about trending fine jewelry.
