They always have really nice casual clothing. They have various sections-women, men and children. The clothes is often very comfortable to wear and of good value.

Normally I like to post positive comments about establishments when I have had a good experience. Unfortunately, this is not the case this time.Last week I contacted this store and inquired about clothing for an upcoming vacation. I was told by a friendly staff member that there were indeed some summer items in stock and that when I arrived, I could ask someone where to locate them.Upon arrival, I noticed there were only two other customers in the store. Not only did no one acknowledge me, I was not asked if I needed assistance when I was clearly looking through clothing racks for at least 30 minutes.I finally asked a salesperson if she was the lady I spoke with and she quickly responded she hadn’t spoken to anyone. I explained that I was told there was perhaps more stock in the back at which she pointed to the racks I had already searched through and said “ They’re on the racks.”Not once did she offer to help me or get anyone else to. I felt VERY unwelcome and left, vowing I would never shop here again.It’s a shame that a store that I equated with fun and friendly people become the opposite. Just because someone may appear “ dressed down” or casual does not mean they do not have money to spend. I also noticed on previous reviews that other customers have had similar experiences.In this difficult economy, retailers should ensure that their staff make everyone feel welcome. No one can afford to be dismissive.On another note, other retailers in Westport had everything I needed so they received the hundreds of dollars I would have spent at Gap.

Called this store because I wanted to purchase some items. I asked the associate who answered the phone if they had any Yeezy items. As soon as I said the word Yeezy the phone was slammed down and I was hung up on. I’ve never been disrespected like this by any company before. What kind of customer service is this? The stock is dying and with customer service like this it’s not hard to understand why. I was going to spend thousands, but instead I spent it at farfetch. Whoever is hanging up on customers does not deserve that job! I called on 09/16/22 at 6:45pm.

Great customer service. I purchased my overall long wool coat in their petite dept. They have great selections. The sales associate was very helpful.

Night crew on the infant section this evening was not helpful. Told me “Kinda figure you should get a gift card.” I guess since I’m a man I can’t shop for infant clothes? All I asked for was for an opinion.

One employee at this location is unbelievably rude. She passed me, behind the counter, while I was waiting to check out and said "someone will be with you shortly". I was in the middle of asking her a question when she walked away and she ignored my question. Then she returns minutes later, no smile, no eye-contact, no apology after leaving me standing there- did you have a question?... so she actually acknowledged hearing me asking her a question originally when she walked away?!?! Crazy town. I've never been treated so poorly in a store. I usually do my own shopping at Lord and Taylor, Ann Taylor, LOFT, where I have no customer service issues... I wish I got the same customer service at this Gap as I do in my regulars because there actually are some cute PJ's and workout clothes here! I will not return knowing this dreadful woman works there. She asked me if I wanted to use my Gap card to which I explained that I don't have one but funnily enough I opened up an Old Navy card over the weekend to save some money on my kids stuff. Essentially, she shamed me for having a lower level card and how Old Navy and Gap are severing ties. At this point I'm just like "Lady, give me my bag so I can get out of your miserable presence." It's a shame. This is such a convenient location and a great find for me for my workout attire... Gap, take better care of your customers.
