Citibank Branch in Fairfield,CT should be a vibrant well managed bank but instead understaffs so one waits up to a half hour to see a teller. Add this to the poor tele service when calling and it's easy to understand how they got the undesirable nickname that rhymes with Citibank.

If you have a dispute Citi is worse than useless. You will get the run around on phone calls and transferred between "customer service" representatives before you get to someone who still chat help you once you're able to get past the robo touch tone system.I am almost certain the Citi representative that reviewed my case didn't even open the attachments I provided because they had closed my case before I was even asked to provide attachments. It was only after I called, got the run around, and finally reached a live person that I was able to reopen the dispute and provide the attachments which I'm sure they ignored completely. If you value your time and money I wouldn't recommend dealing with Citi because they don't value your time or money.

Worst customer service ever. Have had a business account with them for over 8 years. Deposited 4 business checks in drive up teller a week ago and transaction aborted--the machine "ate" my checks--issue has still not been resolved! No credit issued yet--while they "investigate"--investigate what? Easy enough to open machine and find my four checks and credit the NEXT day. After 5 phone calls and a visit to branch never even received phone call from manager---VERY RUDE and unprofessional service. Closing my account soon as this issue is resolved. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

The people that work at this branch are nice but the manager is not and doesn't in any way prioritize customer service. He chose not to help me solve an easy problem - one created by Citi! I called corporate to complain and they apologized profuse. I recommend driving to the next branch over unless you just need to use the ATM.
