Went into apricot lane to look for items for a vacation I’m going on. when I was told in a rude tone to put my backpack by the register. I’ve worked in retail and have never approached a customer in this behavior for which it’s unacceptable and made me feel completely uncomfortable. will not support a business that profiles customers just for wearing a backpack even if the rules are so that no one steals meanwhile this is a college town where I’ve seen several college students go in with backpacks. this situation could’ve been explained in a friendlier way with a greeting that should’ve been approached while entering.

I absolutely love this store! Everytime I’m in the area I always stop to check out what they have! Last time I purchased some great summer dresses and some accessories! I love that they have some really unique pieces of clothing!

I had a horrible experience at this store and would not recommend stopping in. The manager Ally was talking about going out the night before getting drunk. SO unprofessional and unattractive. Definitely have “mean girls” working. Standing behind the register on their phone ignoring you. Also was extremely rude to my friend of color, would brush off her questions about the clothes she was holding and lead her to sales rack.I heard a old women (I assume the owner) say a larger women couldn’t fit in the clothes here after the women left the store. Absolutely disgusted.

Apricot Lane is my favorite boutique to stop in whenever I am visiting CT. I have had nothing but great experiences. There is a wide range of clothing and I always leave satisfied and never empty handed. The staff is a wonderful group of bubbly, personable girls who are eager to help and find the right thing for you!

Used to love this store when I was in college. Now its the only store in Fairfield that requires you to wear a mask even though there is no town mandate. Not worth it to shop there. Businesses and staff like this should be boycotted. Will never shop there again.

I came in and loved the selection and was about to walk up to the register to buy my items until the owner was INCREDIBLY rude to my friend! Rolling her eyes and snotty remarks when she asked a question for no reason at all. She rolled her eyes to me as if I would make fun of my friend with her!

Horrible customer service. Older woman worker not friendly at all and rolled eyes at my friend. Walked out of store Instead of buying $200 worth of merchandise because this of rude employee. If u want to run a successful business, try being friendly to customers.

This place is so not worth the time. Every time my friends and I go in there we are instantly stressed by the women who work there, as they watch every move we make. My friend came in with a Starbucks drink with one sip left in it and one of the women grabbed it from her without asking. Some of women in there I would use the name are “mean girls”.

A few months back the staff was super helpful in helping me pick out some beautiful pieces (as I am quite indecisive!). Surprised anyone could say the experience & service was anything BUT great! One of the staff, Stephanie, was superrrr attentive & helpful in advising me on what was “in” & went well together - although, I loved it all! Very classy styles, chic and very trendy! & I loved their accessories!! Thanks Apricot Lane, you guys are awesome!! ??

This is my favorite shop for getting gifts my wife loves. I've had excellent service every time -- 5 stars -- Plus they're locally owned and are always doing things to give back to the community, so that's just an added bonus.
