Just keep driving to the next stop. I stopped at this rest stop on the way to MA to pick up a Gatorade, price scanned incorrectly and the employee was unwilling to correct.
See photos for price advertised of $2.69, receipt charged me $2.89, employee had no authority to change and had no manager to correct. Unfortunately people at a rest stop don’t have time to argue with an employee over $.20, but they are illegally overcharging multiple people everyday and the CT consumer pricing law says I should get this for free.
Let’s see if the ‘Owner’ who likely responds to this complaint is actually willing to refund my charge and update their pricing signage…

I purchased a cold brew coffee for $3.59. I went up and paid for the coffee, and was not offered a receipt. When I stepped back so another customer could be served, I reviewed the charges on my phone and found that I had been charged twice, two different charges ($3.59 and $3.64). When I went back up to clear up the 2nd charge, the employee behind the counter argued with me. He even printed the two receipts, and I explained that they had the same credit card number, and that I had been charged twice, for one item. He walked off, without saying anything, grabbed a drink from the cooler, came back and gave me $3.45. My coffee was $3.59. I was charged two charges, one being $3.64, and the 2nd one $3.59. When the receipts are printed, and in his hand, and the situation has clearly been explained, why was I argued with, and then not refunded the correct amount?! This was after he had told me to step aside, and wait, so he could help 4 other customers?! He was just a very rude store keeper, and barely spoke English, so it's difficult to explain things to him.

I was literally abused by a white woman agent, I presume a cashier. It had a racist overtones. I stopped by to purchase lottery tickets. She was sorting stuff at the counter when I arrived. She yelled back: “wait” which should be a no no in customer service universe. She was mad about something. She threw lotto tickets at me. I requested to speak to the manger. She ignored me and called for the next customer. Will never return to this store again!

Older man working the register at the Alltown mobil said we couldnt leave after we swiped our card and it said approved. He said we can only leave when he says so then proceeded to yell. “Dont F’n leave” 4:20 PM sunday 09/10/23. Defintely not a mentally stable register clerk

I was travelling I-95 south today and was in need of gasoline. I see fuel prices climbing daily, and since this place is a Mobil, prices are a little higher than most to begin with. Being on a major interstate highway (allowing for quick & easy exit) you pay even more...There is some added value here with hand sanitizer dispensers at the pumps. I was happy the sanitizer was not empty, but the receipt tape was apparently out of paper. That is annoying. If I am paying at the pump, I certainly don't want to go inside for a receipt.There are restrooms and several restaurants to choose from here.They have a convenience store to refuel yourself too.If you're in need of adding air to your tires, they have a pump here at the end of the row of pumps.

Better customer service. Paid at the pump for gas and just wanted to use the bathroom. I am diabetic and it’s important to stay on a routine. A customer came out is bathroom and he said I had to see the cashier. I waited my turn on to have rude person tell me that there are no bathrooms for use. I understand with COVID-19 there are restrictions but the attitude that went with the response was unnecessary. There was no compassion and it’s all sounded like racial prejudice. I wonder how he would feel if a family or friend was treated the same way. I waited until we got to the car rental return to use the facilities. Maybe tell your employees to treat other hii you man being better. Anything else is unnecessary, this was a damper on an outside great trip to Boston even with snow. IIn a post Trump America I expected better.

I enjoy their coffee that they are bringing to our quick fix gas stations but when I pay for a 20ounce coffee and get 16ounces really sucks. All their cups say 20ounces but only hold 16ounces!! I have called some guy named Brendan twice but he won’t return my calls?? Lame!
