I am so impressed with this company. The repair man is pleasant, extremely knowledgeable, he showed up on time and gave me reasonable options to repair a very costly item. I would not call anyone else.

Very disappointing, unprofessional experience. Problem was not resolved. Had to pay another company to come out and fix the problem.

Having purchased a suite of appliance after a major home renovation in 2012 I had failed to anticipate that one day I might face a series of major appliance failures in rapid succession, but so I did: first the dryer, followed soon there after by the washer and next the dishwasher. It was a situation made manageable because I has Christian's number on hand and could count of his prompt response to each crisis and a fast and accurate diagnosis and repair. Cannot recommended him more highly. Prompt, professional, fair, and a pleasure to do business with.

The team there was nice and fair. They gave me upfront information to make an informed decision on my appliance repair. I would recommend them.

Terrible and super rude service. Not at all responsive to customers and the guy has such an attitude. On top of all that, charged me over a hundred dollars and the appliance is still not working.

Chris McNeil took me on a $610 folly with my Thermador ovens. Without properly diagnosing the problem, he had me send the control boards to be rebuilt. Rebuild cost $350 plus $260 his charge to come to my home to take out the boards and put them back in. I called Chris to say that didn’t fix the problem. He wanted to charge me again to come back. Reported the unacceptable service (Chris was a Thermador certified service repair tech) to Thermador who came out and diagnosed the problem as the heat sensor but said the boards did NOT have to be rebuilt if Chris diagnosed the problem correctly—$350 unnecessary expense. Chris did not make the effort to diagnose correctly, didn’t return my calls after I expressed my displeasure to his assistant—as he would not get on the phone with me to discuss a remedy after 3 voicemails. Very disappointing, unprofessional and VERY expensive.

Affordable Appliance came to look at my Maytag washing machine, which was having a ball bearing issue in the drum. Christian inspected the machine for literally 7 minutes, charged me $75.00 and wrote on my receipt to replace the machine. When I called the office to ask Christian for an estimate (vs replacing a 5 year old appliance), I was told he wouldn't be back until the next day--and it was only 10am!--but he never returned my call the next day or ever. P.S. I found someone else who fixed the machine for a fraction of what I paid for it and didn't charge me for just showing up. He knew exactly what was wrong with it in a 3 minute phone call. Do not use this company. They will rip you off with a diagnostic charges and not solve the problem!

I want of first say that Christian did repair our refrigerator and if I was rating this company for the actual repair I would've given 5 stars. The valve to the built in water and ice maker was leaking water and needed to be replaced. When he came back with the valve, there was a problem with the hose. Then when he came back to replace the hose, the jug that is stored inside of the door where the water sits before it's dispensed (it keeps the water cold) had a crack and was leaking. I had to call them back after a week because I never heard back about the jug. It wound up that Sears no longer made the product available so he had to insert a hose to prevent it from leaking. All in all it took 4 visits to fix and cost me a total of $460. The parts total was $114 and the remaining $346 was for labor, shipping for the parts ($12) and tax. What I didn't understand after the first visit was that every time he showed up, he was going to charge us for another service call. Considering he probably spent a total of two hours here over the four visits, I feel the fee was excessive. Had I known ahead of time that it was going to cost me $460 to repair it, I probably would've spent the extra money and replaced it since it's 12 years old.

I was very impressed with the speed in which we were able to get an appointment. We were extremely satisfied with the service call and would not hesitate to use Affordable Appliance should the need arise.

Christian has been repairing appliances for us for years and I never had 1 complaint! He always told us, "I repair it as long as you want me to but at some point it needs replacement"...he could have just come and repair to make the money but he is honest and would recommend him to everyone I know, incl. friends and family!

Very unreliable. They make an appointment and on the day of the appointment, an hour before the appointment, they call to say that the repairman doesn't think he can repair my appliance and cancel the appointment. Don't use this company!!!!!

Was 5 stars - Polly answered. My Miele 3 year old dishwasher has been giving a lower spray arm block with soap suds on the bottom. She told me a grandma's remedy to clean out the unit twice then change from gel to powder. I expected to pay a service call fee and instead got valuable advice. I'll be sure to call them if I need repair! Now 1 star - Called for repair a month later. Waited 3 days for appointment and my wife was told by the tech that the water is hard this time of year. I called back on black Friday at 7 AM and as of December 29th I have not received a call back! He did not put something on the computer to get a reading as expected now I have daily problems with dish washer and will call someone else and dispute the amex charge!

Usually don't critique but, very unhappy with this service. Didn't fix my machine correctly and never returned to remedy situation. Had better service elsewhere. Will use All American in the future. Honest, quick and reasonable
